Which show do you think has the best acting?
I voted for Buffy, because although Angel has many good actors (I'm not sure about Firefly), I think Buffy had more (i,e. Sarah Michelle Gellar, James Marsters, Alyson Hannigan, Tony Head).

Actually you didnt vote I voted Firefly All the actors on there are brilliant, but then they are on all three shows. Firefly got my vote cause none of them are bad, whereas the other shows had longer to have dodgy guest stars

Oops! I forgot to vote . Now I voted for Buffy . I hear what you're saying about dodgy guest stars, but I haven't seen Firefly. However, I did see Serenity and the acting was good in that. So, it was between Buffy and Angel for me, and Buffy had more good lead acting imo.

Firefly also gets my vote. On a whole, the acting seems a bit more "polished" than the other two (probably because it had less time to get crap actors! )

Actors on Buffy and Angel started off a bit dodgy and had years to improve (which they did, a lot) but the actors on the Firefly was superb right of the bat. So my vote goes to Firefly.

I voted Angel. Granted, they started off dodgy, and Firefly started great right off the bat. But I think that the improvements that Angel made (and this was tied with Buffy, trust me...Angel was just more emotional, imo) are part of what made the acting so fantastic.

I voted for Angel. As the show progressed, I think everyone eased into their parts, and by the end, I think they were all doing a great job. Amy Acker was amazing, especially to be able to do Fred and Illyria, who were so different as characters. Also, I think Julie Benz did an awesome job as evil Darla, human Darla, Darla with soulled Connor inside, and flashback Darla.

Yeah but Firefly had no dodgy acting at all. Even towards the end, there were some Angel and Buffy cast that were a bit dodge. Eve for instance. Some of the potentials.

I vote Firefly for the above reasons. However, since the show had such a short run, there's no way of saying that we (those of us who voted FF) wouldn't all have different opinions had it gone longer.

Firefly because they were all really great. Buffy did have some dodgy actors, I don't even really think SMG is that great, compared to Summer for example. (bad Liz!)

She was a member of the cast and thus counts in the acting, you can't ignore people you don't like to suit you

DB, Alexis Denisof, James Marsters and Amy Acker were all so great in season 5. Even Andy Hallet chipped in and J. August was thrust into a completely different acting scenario and pulled it off well. I think that wins it for me.

DB got fat and grumpy in season 5

She was a member of the cast and thus counts in the acting, you can't ignore people you don't like to suit you I don't count someone who guest starred on maybe 5 episodes as part of the cast. I see the cast as those who are in the credits and anyone who has a *very* frequent recurring role (Stephanie and Christian in Angel) That being said, I voted for Angel. The main parts are acted wonderfully and I don't see that many flaws.

Eve had a very recurring role in season 5, she was part of the cast. She wasn't a one or two episode guest star. Its the same as I would class Glory as part of the season 5 BtVS cast, not a regular but still part of the cast. I'm not just judging the acting on the regular cast, but on the ones who were on regularly at least in one season.

Was Eve really there that much? *is thinking* Maybe you're right, it's been awhile, but for some reason I feel like she wasn't in it THAT much...

She was in most episodes of that season.

My mistake. I still pick Angel, though. As it was said, Firefly didn't have time to get any extra crappy actors so it's kind of unfair to add it...anyway, the Angel actors just work for me...besides Eve--but no show is *perfect*

I want to say Angel purely for AD, I thought he was absolutely brilliant but I think all round firefly had a stronger acting class, they all complimented each other perfectly but they only had one season so who knows, they could have got some crappy actors/actresses on like Angel did!.
