a friend told me today that they are making a movie of the original star trek and that james marsters is gonna be in it, along with simon pegg and also the guy who plays syler from heroes is gonna play spock, sounds a bit unbelievable to me i think he was winding me up but i thought i would post it here in case it was true

JJ Abrams is making a Star Trek movie, and Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will be Spock for sure, and I think only a couple other actors have been confirmed. I haven't heard anything about James Marsters being involved.  |

I haven't heard anything about James Marsters being involved. Neither have I. Not even in rumours anywhere, sadly. Zachary Quinto and Simon Pegg are both among the confirmed, though. And for Nathan Fillion fans, Waitress opens in cinemas here on Oct 25. |

I wanted to watch Waitress and Death at a Funeral but they only showed both movie during a short period of time and I missed both. I heard Waitress was really good. Can't wait for the DVD. |

Daniel Dae Kim is great as Jin on Lost. Definitely worth a mention, I think, especially because he doesn't speak any English on the show.

He's fantastic on Lost. I remember when the show started, and I was reading an interview with him. He was talking about how great it was to play a Korean, because it was his first character ever who was. Interesting, because so many Asian actors get typecast in those roles, and he had the opposite problem.
His lack of English on the show - to me - shows just how good an actor is. He emotes brilliantly, and you know just how Jin's feeling, without hearing his lines.

I read that James Marsters is going to be in the new Dragon Ball movie. But I'm not sure whether it's confirmed or not. I caught Nathan Fillion on Desperate Housewives. So unMal-like. |

Speaking of Nathan Fillion, it's been announced that he'll be voicing Steve Trevor in the upcoming Wonder Woman animated movie. Third one in a row with these DC Comic animated movies featuring Jossverse actors (Adam Baldwin as Superman and James Marsters as Lex Luthor in Superman: Doomsday, David Boreanaz as Green Lantern in the upcoming Justice League: The New Frontier). I suspect the producers may be Joss fans.  Oh, and I was rewatching Firefly, and the kid who played the young Simon grew up to be Zac Efron (just to make Liz squeal with delight). |
