What I was wondering was what do you think Buffy would be like without a soul? Would she be completely evil like Angelus, or would she be more like Spike- sometimes evil, sometimes not?
Also, what if she was sired. In fact, what if any Vampire Slayer became a vampire. Would the Slayer which was a vampire fight their own kind? Plus, would any vampires sire Vampire Slayers?
Taken from BT, so sorry for those for you who have already responded to it.

I think she would be evil if she had no soul- after all, her Slayer powers are rooted in darkness, and if you add taking her soul away from her...I think that the darkness would consume her.
I don't think that a Slayer turned vampire would fight their own kind, either. I think they would use their extra oower as a boost to make themselves more powerful in the demon, or under, world, and try to run the vampires/demons/etc. After all, Slayers do have a certain leadership trait about them and I'm sure that would be a major factor if they became vampires.

There is a Buffy Book called "Tempted Champions" that deals with a Slayer being sired. In it she killed both humans and vampires. Vampires she still hated, as she retained her personality. She didn't fight to protect, but because she loathed them. Faith I think would be the same, she relishes the fight. Buffy has a different personality, she fights to protect not because she loves to fight, or hates vampires. Still, I think Buffy would kill what suited her, whether it be human or demon or vampire. Its in any slayers nature to hunt, so why would that stop?

Isn't part of the season four episode "Living Conditions" the fact that Kathy's spell is sucking out Buffy's soul? Buffy was getting pretty evil in that episode-- and I think it lends credence to what Beck was saying-- she would kill humans too. Buffy didn't know Kathy was a demon and she was still intent on killing her.
Also, I think vampires would totally turn Slayers. It would be like the ultimate insult.

I agree with Beck's post. I won't go into any more detail, since in a nutshell, she beat me to my own answer.

What I was wondering was what do you think Buffy would be like without a soul? She'd be evil. A soul is what makes you human, what make you whole - vampires are evil animals.

You all make excellent points . I pretty much agree. I believe she would kill both humans and vampires, since she would still keep her Slayer powers, she would also keep the slayer instincts. Amber you made a great point about leadership. I could see Buffy actually being the leader of the demons . However, hasn't there been demons/vampires who don't have souls, yet they are still sometimes good? Also, did Clem have a soul? (It goes in the Clem section, but it is for the point of this thread)

Being a demon doesn't mean they have no soul. Having a soul doesn't always make you good, but I think the lack of one means a lack of conscience, and thus not good.

I know being a demon doesn't mean there is no soul, that is why I asked if Clem had a soul. And I also know having a soul doesn't make you good, but it did in Buffy's case.

I got to agree with Beck on this one. And I have a feeling the first humans she would kill are the members of the Watcher's Council. Hmmm...this would make a good plot for a fanfic.

Interesting question. I think any slayer that became a vampire would be extremely predetory evan compared to other vamps. I think most of them would probably kill or turn they're watcher very quickly then would likely go on a (calculted) killing spree of vamps, demons and humans. Nobody would be safe, a slayer vamp would be a force of nature. They'd either have extremely powerful hunters come after them and quickly kill them or they'd rack up a huge body count. I also think it's likely they'd try and kill any other slayer they can find.
Buffy however might be a bit different. I think she might try and turn most or all of the scoobies and unlike other slayer vamps would start/lead a vamp gang. I think any vamps that wouldn't follow her she'd have killed and probably the same for any demons. She might also go after the Watcher organization. She'd make sure to kill any old adversaries from when she was alive. As for Angel I think she'd keep him like a trophy and try and force him to love her, never understanding why he couldn't and why he kept trying to oppose her. Eventually she'd stake him in a fit of rage.
Know the one that would really scare me as a vampire would be Giles.
