Which relationship of Angel's do you think was the best? Which did you enjoy watching the most, and who do you think he should have ended up with? I went for Darla. I love her and I think that of all of Angel's lovers she is the one that knows and understands him the best. Of course, I love Angelus and Darla even more Cordy with Angel for me is just too weird. While I don't find it gross or anything, it seemed forced, and they were better off as friends imo. And Buffy and Angel is tainted for me because of the majority of Season 3. Pfft to Nina and Eve.

Angel is best suited to Darla i guess but couldn't bring myself to vote for it. Buffy all the way..... Cordy and Angel just didn't sit well with me from the very beginning. I always said i'd stop watching the show it they officially hooked them up Nina was dull upon dull even with the werewolf stuff and just looked like a hybrid of Buffy and Darla which was creepy. Eve was a waste of air time. And air.

I agree with everything Loz said. As much as I loved seeing Angelus and Darla together (evil love is great), I had to vote for Buffy. It just seemed right.

Buufy all the way!! Darla was great with Angel, but as shown in s.3 he didn't love her because as a vampire Angelus was incapable of love. And Angel quite clearly loves Buffy more

Ahem. Well my vote was the Darla one, but who were the Cordelia votes? I'm sure that could stir up some arguments lol!

I loved bangel.. on Buffy.. but I really adore season two of Angel BECAUSE of the Darla&Angel relationship. my favorite Angel episode is "The Trial" so I chose Darla. I did like some of the Angel&Cordy interaction, but my heart's with Darla on this one..

I voted Cordelia. Prefered Angel with her than the other two.

I took this as a in AtS, which did you prefer. And I really do see the two universes as completely different.
So, I voted for Cordelia. While I will probably never like them as much as Bangel on BtVS, Cordelia had grown a lot through the years. They grew to become genuine friends and I feel the relationship progressed naturally from there. Cordelia had been there at his side while he fought in L.A. I think they had a bond that's hard to find that would have kept them together had they had the chance.

For me chemistry wise it was Darla. There was a tortured almost mystical connection between them that transcended a sire and childe relationship. It was a mix of salvation and damnation
For love it's got to be Buffy. The idea of Angel and Cordy made sense but the lack of chemistry was always a problem for me so it's got to be Buffy and Angel. Plus I think he'll always love her. When it's all said and done it always seems to come back to Buffy.

I voted Buffy too. I never wanted Darla and Angel to get together, but I won't get into that as alot of people here seem to like Darla/Angel. I think unsouled Darla and Angelus works, but souled Darla and souled Angel just didn't feel right.
Cordelia and Angel makes me sick. I liked how just once there could be two good looking people on a t.v show who happen to be best friends w/o sexual tension between the two. But then in season three they ruined that.
Nina and Angel is ok.. but like everyone else said it was kinda boring, as was she. Eve and Angel isn't even worth mentioning imo.
so that leaves me with Buffy. The love of his life, the same person that he could always go back to. They the kind of love that never dies.

I voted darla. but only for the flashbacks of darla/angelus. i dont think angel and darla went to well together. the only reason she was intrested in angel was to try and get angelus back. and i wanted her to succeed evil spike & angelus were so much more entertaining they also had the best lines

I voted for Buffy. I did love Darla, but the relationship was meaningless. It would have never gone anywhere, especially Darla and Angelus. I agree with Beck about Cordy. It was too forced, and they were forced into love. If they had really been right for each other, they would have been interested in Sunnydale. I know Cordy changed a lot, but she changed into Angel's friend not his girlfriend. Nina and Eve were . I honestly don't know how people can favor Cordy over Buffy. They say the Cordy/Angel relationship was more mature, yet I believe Buffy and Angel could have grown into something that could have lasted- when the time was right.

Haha I've actually come right around on Cordy/Angel and like it now. And what Buffy/Angel COULD have grown into is not relevant - they didn't. Buffy outgrew Angel, as did he her. Cordy and Angel did fall in love, thats all there is too it. And looking back, Angel and Buffy fell in love a lot quicker than did Cordy and Angel As for falling for each other in Sunnydale - people change, as do their feelings for each other. I barely noticed Bernie the first time we met :dunno: I don't think Darla and Angel's relationship was meaningless either, not sure i get that comment I favour both Darla and Cordy for Angel over Buffy. Buffy turned Angel into a horrid character.

Yeah I said Buffy before but after watching s3 of Angel for the first time as whole I fell for Cangel. (see sig set). I used to think it would be weird - Sunnydale Cordy with Buffy's Angel - but both character grew into something different, and I think they clicked.

I picked Darla. Angel feels like he needs to "save" people, and feels the need to save Darla from herself. Granted, it doesn't make for a healthy relationship, though. The Angelus/Darla stuff was brilliant, as was Darla and her "soul by proxy", thanks to Conner. His thing with Nina was interesting, but was really too undeveloped (and undershown) for me to comment on...

I mean, I don't think Darla and Angel could have been something. They had a kid, but their past was too great. They were better together as vampires, and I can't see them ever being in real, true love.

That's right. I voted for Nina. What? I think it was a real chance for something that wasn't NEARLY as angsty as everything else he's been a part of. I mean, I'd love to him in a relationship that wasn't 90% drama.

Then it wouldn't have been a serious relationship, imo. If they were just in a relationship for fun I don't think it would be nearly as entertaining as any of his other relationships.
