The word on the grapevine is that Angel could be returning for a sixth season.
Now, don't get too excited because it isn't on TV. No, IDW and Joss Whedon have been in talks to create Angel season 6 in comic form after the Buffy Season 8 comics are finished.
Is this good news or what?

Truth be told i would have rather had an Angel season 6 than a Buffy season 8 as Atvs was lef so much more in the balance.

Yeah, me too. I wasn't really a fan of Buffy post Season 3 but I was a huge fan of Angel all the way through. It was just a more exciting story.
If thye do start after Btvs S8, we'll be waiting quite a few years for it. Let's just hope it happens because I still want to see what happens to Angel. Will he shanshu? Will he ever find happiness? So many questions.

I hope it'll happen, but at this stage of the game, it's still a ways off. And it wouldn't be the first time Joss has hinted at stuff that never actually eventuated...  |

I'd like it. Though I stand by that I love how it ended.
If they have Angel shanshu I'll have a shit fit. I really will. The idea of Shanshu is good, it actually happening is bad

I cant see him Shanshuing after only 8/9/10 years of redemption. Plus two of those years he was Angelus and killing again  |

I'd love to see it too. I wouldn't say I'd rather it than Buffy, though. I do want to see what happened after Not Fade Away, since there are so many questions that needs to be answered.

I want Angel to shanshu but I think they should just say it happens in an epilogue of something. They shouldn't actually show it because Angel has a lot more lives to save yet. And here is the link to the site with the info: forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=105502 |
