Anyone else have an opinion on Sense and Sensitivity?

All in all, it's a "meh" episode. There are times where it looks like it's going to be great, but then it proceeds to let you down. It's not terrible, but it's far from great.
As for Kate, I quite liked her. She had a lot of potential which wasn't really put to use.

Angel being all sensitive is the only saving grace for this episode i think. His Painbow line is a gem I can't stand Kate. So an episode that features her a lot doesn't thrill me. But i think its more the actress than the character that i can't warm too 5/10 for me.

A lot of the episode was painful to watch but Angel is just too fantastic to hate it. I think there should have been more scenes of Angel, Doyle and Cordy together rather than Kate

I don't believe I haven't mentioned anything for this ep. Quickly: I found this to be one of the ok eps of Season 1 and although I liked Doyle, I preferred the eps when Wes arrived not so much for Wes himself but I liked some of the eps like IGYUMS and the Faith, Lindsay development, the introduction of the delicious Lilah and one of the my fave lawyers Holland Manners who I actually agree with apart from the whole evil thing (I'll explain later) but these eps just feel, ok.
All this said, there were some moments I liked. The moments with Kate and her father were heartbreaking. Like Kate or not, you have to be a little moved by the scene where you think Trevor going to try to connect with his daughter but then he just shrugs it off.
Cordy calling Angel insensitive was both funny, ironic and fitting. Cordy is wonderfully self absorbed but she can be right on the money. Angel deeply cares about his friends but guilt and self-loathing get in the way. He withdraws because he feels that they withdraw and this hurts Angel more than they know.
I'm in the camp of people who didn't like the 'Painbow' line. Angel on a normal day is a lot wittier than this, mianly due to his subtlety of delivery.
Also Angel has crossed a lot of lines over the years (as we'll see) and his been 'tough guy' Angel on Btvs too (with Willy on WML for example) but it's not something he likes to do but more feels he has to do, he doesn't even like vamping out, so we get a few more layers to Angel's character. I can analyse pretty much any ep of Angel I would use this as a sign that I liked it all that much. It was good but not great.
6.5/10.
I may chnage my mind but I doubt it, I have to rate in relative terms.

See I actually like Kate, but I still didn't like this episode very much
