At the end of Release we have the following exchange between Faith and Angelus:
Faith: No! You're wrong. I'm different now-not like you. Angelus: You will be. [He bites her]
So, I'm wondering, was he planning on turning her? I really don't know. Why would he say it if he wasn't?
Do you guys think he was planning on turning her or just killing her?
Of course, with Angelus you never know what the Hell is going on inside his head, but we can speculate...

Yeh I think he was. Angelus recognsed evil aready within Faith which has always been present even before she went on her killing spree, and I think Angelus would have considered turning a Slayer the stuff of ledgends so it makes sense that it really was his intent.

Faith easpecially would have been one hell of a vamp. Plus her and Angelus together I think they'd be strong enough to kill Buffy

i dont think they would of teamed up, i think faith would still be a slayer just that she would feed off humans too, a vampire will keep its traits and personality from when it was alive i seem to recall from somewhere. possibly doppelgang land

No I think evil would too big of a lure for Faith there's noway she'd carry on slaying, no she'd definately go down in history as one of the most visious vamps and probably the hardest to kill

Oh Angelus was definately going to turn her. Faith would have continued slaying vampires and demons as well as humans I think. Unless they were of use to her. She hates demons, and that wouldn't change when she was turned, despite becoming one herself.

I think in Angel season 4 Faith has lost her total hatred for demons. She doesn't want to have sunday tea with them, but I think by then it was more of the thrill of the hunt and the thrill of the kill. As a vampire I think she would use that thrill in hunting humans--something very much in common with Angelus. If a demon pisses her off she won't hesitate in killing it, of course.
I also think she would definintly team up with Angelus. For one thing, he would be her sire and vampires naturally have a loylaty towards their sire. She would also sense the evil inside of him and how much damage they could do together and wouldn't want to turn away from him.
The two of them together would probably be able to defeat Buffy, then after that...well the world would be in trouble.

I'm sure Angelus was going to turn her, because he saw her capacity for evil.
I also think it was a stupid move, because she'd probably become his greatest adversary. It was always about the hunt for her, and she wouldn't have discriminated between humans and vamps, or any kind of demon.

Turning a Slayer into a vampire would be just the kind of thing that Angelus would thrive upon. Plus he is not really the type to make empty threats so i reckon he would have gone through with it.

It's the corruption of good. By turning her it would be basically undoing everything Angel did. At first Angelus was tryin to demoralise her and derail her. He brings about her own feelings of wanting to let go and ending the hurt inside, when can't do this with words he gets her to lower her guard and bites her, he's thinking either way I win.
