I think everyone - or almost everyone - on here has seen Serenity, so lets see if we can get a big discussion happening on it. To begin with - everyone's favourite parts, least favourite parts... general thoughts?

Favourite part - Wash's death.
And before you jump all over me, it was just so unexpected, and quite a powerful moment. So why it didn't make me happy, it's still what sticks with me.
Also, the intrduction really worked, as we see River at school. It was a great set-up for the movie.

I usually snack a fair bit in movies. In Serenity, we didn't eat ANYTHING. We just like, "ZOMG MUST WATCH EVERY SECOND!" My favorite part...River's "my turn", Kaylee and Simon getting togethers, aww! Least favorite would be Book's death, and Wash's. Wash's was so...out of the blue. We were like, "YAY YEAH AWESOME THEY'RE SAFE!" And then. Poke.  I love this movie. |

So the Collector's Edition has been doing really well in sales, so there's talk about a second movie (straight to DVD, most likely). Serenity 2Obviously don't get your hopes up. But it's nice to see the DVD is doing well anyway.  |

It's an interesting rumour. I'd love to see it happen, but I'm a little sceptical that we'll ever see it. Still, it'd be great if it did happen.

I hope it happens. I would be happy if it just came out of DVD. It's good enough for me.
But like Shaun said, I won't get my hopes up until it's officical and a released date for the DVD is confirmed. ;P

Ooohhhhh I so hope this is going to happen! it would be so awsome and if the dvd's are selling so well theres no reason why a stright to dvd wouldn't do the same! this has got me so excited now, I can't be as restraint as you guys |

Yes! He did. Though his reasoning for watching it is that it's considered a show with a libertarian agenda.  At least he watched it! Still can't get Buffy to stick with him though. |

Bernie watched some of Buffy with me ages ago, we go up to season 6... must start that again. And rewatch Firefly as soon as the boys are back.

When I first showed Steven Firefly he wasn't into it. He didn't like the mix of space and cowboy days. I told him keep watching, you will realize how original this show is and how well it does work and he did and he enjoys it now.
