Then you are very lucky Allan. I don't mind Tubthumping. It's catchy. ;D

They're....by Creed? And pretty awful.

Oh well I know the guy is f**ked up but I like the sound of the band, including those songs.

I'm 100% with Bre, on this. "With Arms Wide Open" is especially nice.

Maybe it's getting very little play here in Australia Unfortunately not. Listen to 104.7 - its one about 3 times a day And i don't know what the problem with Creed is either. I think Higher is a great song. And the meaning behind With Arms Wide Open is really very nice

I like Creed! And those songs you hate are one of my favourites.

My number #1 cringeworthy song is definitely "Mambo no 5". It just drives me insane.

i love both those Creed songs and both of them have great meaning behind them. I agree about Mambo No 5 and also Macarena

I don't hate Macarena. It's a goofy song that gets stuck in my head. I hated Mambo no 5 since I first heard it, and when I was out one night and heard it no less than 10 times (Stonefest here in Canberra, if anyone knows it) when one of the dance floors seemed to play it continuously - I had to keep heading that way for the bar. It was torture, I tell you!

Hmmmm i was at Stone that year - was too drunk to remember ANY songs though I despise Barbie Girl. And does anyone remember the song Sweat?

LOL, I was pretty far gone that year, too! I think that's the only song I remember, aside from "Angel" by Shaggy (another hated song) which I left my girlfriend at the time (who loved it) a recording of over voicemail. Huh, I was wondering what you were talking about with "Sweat", Loz, and then it occurred to me I think of it as "A La La La La Long". I agree completely - hate it. As for "Barbie Girl", it makes me laugh - particularly the lyric. I'm never going to listen to it of my own accord, but I don't hate it.

What is it about the song that you dislike so much, Liz? Don't like his voice at all. I remember Barbie Girl...I loved it. It gets incredibly annoying though.

Disliking a song doesn't make it cringeworthy There are loads of songs I don't like but they don't make me cringe. Whether you like his voice or not, those songs are imo very good and don't fall into the cringeworthy. Any Aqua song does really. That Dr Jones especially.

The Barbie Girl song makes me cringe, too. Especially since a group of girls made up a dance for it at the talent show a few years ago and got third place. Wtf?

That band that did the 5,6,7,8 and Tragedy also make me cringe.
