I very rarely get any albums but i do recommend the Arctic Monkeys' Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. Awesome songs and most are quite short and you cant help but caught up and sing along.

I bought Hollywood by Little Birdy today, and just got done listening to it. It's quite a nice CD, with some great tunes. Not sure if I like it as much as their first CD, the two of them are very different.
The new one has a more "mature" sound, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing for them. Still very enjoyable, though.

I've been recently listening to Damien Rice's "O".
It's quite a good album. You have to listen to it a few times to get into the songs if you're not a fan of mellow, folk stuff. It took me about two spins and I'm hooked!

I would definitely recommend How to Save a Life by the Fray (what else ). It's a great overall album. I can't seem to think of anymore at the moment, because How to Save a Life is my favorite album at the moment. Last year I would have recommended the Young and the Hopeless album by Good Charlotte, but I think I grew out of that .

I haven't yet bought this, but heard it yesterday - "Love", by the Beatles. Basically, it's a remix of some of their bigger hits that was put together for Cirque du Solei. Great music on there. 26 tracks, and 78 minutes of music.

I recommend to every Indie and fans of Britsh rock bands to get Arctic Monkey's second album, Favourite Worst Nightmare. It's my favourite album at the moment. It's catchy, fast and rocking. If you liked their first album, you'll be more than satisfied with their second effort.

It's a really lovely album, nice to study or just relax to. Favourite tracks: Sound of Settling, Tiny Vessels

Might i recommend Radio One: Live Lounge! It's an amazing album where artists are in studios singing other people's songs, and various different versions of their own songs! It's amazing! You've got Arctic Monkeys singing Girls Aloud's "Love Machine"...The Kooks doing Gnarl's Barkley's "Crazy"! It's amazing! I think the next one might have The Fray doing Shakira's Hips Don't Lie! Amazing album and beautiful songs

That sounds amazing, Lex. I might have to try and get my hands on it (though it'll probably involve importing )
