I know they do this on the Leaky Cauldron forum, but I was thinking we could try it here - Harry Potter reading groups!
We could start with Philosopher's Stone - reading a chapter together each week and discussing it. Who would be interested? It wouldn't start until the new year.

Hmm, seperate threads for the chapters I think, not every one will read them all at the exact same time. Maybe a thread for every 5 chapters? I can make a subsection if it really gets a lot of posts.

Can we start before that? Christmas break is when I have the most time to read. Since Monday is Christmas, how about a week from today? Though I could start sooner...I guess a week isn't much earlier than the first, but it's something

Well it can start whenever really, the threads will still be there and the conversations can keep going even if people aren't reading at exactly the same time.

Are we still doing this? I noticed the chapters 1-5 of the first book thread, but it kinda died. I'm going to look harder for my books so I can re-read, but I was wondering if we were still going to discuss in threads like Liz suggested.

I've been rereading the books based on the book seven schedule. I'm going to get done about one day before the book comes out. I can link you guys to the calander if you want to see it, though it's a bit late to join now as we're already halfway through book five.
