Backing up a little, Harry isn't alone, and unless Hagrid, Ron and Hermoine are also killed off will never be alone. There are many others who care a lot about Harry too, but those are the three that Harry needs around most now that Sirius is dead. Dumbledore was everyone's protector, everyone needed him around and he will be back in some way - though not the same as he was. Plus there are so many paintings of people on hand to offer advice if Harry needs it  As for Sirius's death, I also thought it was cheap. I cant recall a characters death EVER pissing me off more than that one. |

I thought the movie was coming out on the 13th of July? *shrug* I know! lol all the commercials say July 11 and the sites but the theaters say July 13... so apparently I don't get to see the movie till later then everyone else either so I want to see no spoilers in the General Chat thread people! lol. |

They've been messing around with the release date. Wikipedia has 11 July for US, Australia and Canada, and 12 July for the UK.

No more messing for them... them messing is bad! It confuses me, and now my count downer isn't reliable! Saw another commercial today and it actually looked a little new! It was saying how all the great wizards started out as nothing more then what they were now. very cool. Gave me fangirl jitters cause we all no Sirius was a great wizard and anything that referances him in my book is heart stopping yumminess.

Yeah, when its out you are going to know about it. July will be a very good month for Potter fans. I am excited but not overly so. I was more excited many months ago but the wait has been so long so i am feeling more "meh" about it now.

I don't think the wait has been long at all! I'm a bit disappointed that the movie and book will be out in the same month...I'd rather one of them came out near Christmas, or even next year.

I realized today that this will be my last chance to go to a midnight release. Even though I know I"m getting my book from the store I work in, I still want to go. I want to go to barnes and noble, and see the people, and drink butterbeer. I haven't been able to do it a single time yet. So I'm going to go. I expect to see people crying.

We don't have midnight releases here.  It'll be released at 9.01 (atleast in Queensland, I think it differs from state to state). I'd love to go to one, though. When I got H-BP I sprinted home. This time...I think I'll be a bit upset. Aw. |

Mine is pre ordered to come on the day of the release. My family think they will read it before me, pffft. Sleeping bag by the door may have to be used so i get first dibs lol.
