That's kind of cool.
I'm still undecided about the Wii. The few times I've played it have been fun, but I can't help but shake the idea that the novelty would wear off...

I disagree, I Still play my snes/nes/commodore and amiga, they are nothing special, Nintendo are known for there cartooney fun games, PS2 and microsofts games are all cutting edge graphics, kind of...blah to me. A joypad that is a sword, steering wheel, gun, wings, arm, cup, trunk, and now wand, and not to mention the thousands of things it becomes in warioware, . If you still enjoy your PS2/xbox, The wii is awesome, its a regular console, you play when your bored or with friends, except it makes you sweat (Ie: Wii Boxing, I swear its the best workout i have ever had) .

Yeah, and you don't even have to play it standing up - not all the time anyway. My brother plays Twilight Princess (Zelda) sitting down.
I really want Smooth Moves but it's $90!

Smooth moves is fun, Theres a dancing one and you have to follow the dance steps on screen, involves alot of tapping the pad on your butt and doing a sort of mexican wave action and aeroplane actions

The times I've played the Wii have been really fun, and it's a great fun console. I still thoroughly enjoy the 360 too, but I agree that the Wii's awesome for something different. I just don't know how often I could play games like Smooth Moves before getting bored. That said, the Wii is fairly cheap, which will probably end up being the deciding factor for me. I'm definitely not forking out the cash for a PS3.

I think its more dependant on the games, me being a big final fantasy fan I stick to the PS2 because they have final fantasy, when i 100% complete those, I get bored of them and play them again like 5 months later. The price of a PS3 is pathetic, Sony are Making a fortune, is the PS3 backwards compatabile? but I do know what youmean Allan, I can lay say wii sports for half an hour nowadays and get bored of it but then play it again later and love it again, I guess the best part is when you have friends round, its sooo much better than sitting like a couch potatoe. as for Smooth Moves, Impossible to comnplete im missing like 40 minigames, grrrr

Just keep up the hard work and you'll get there, Nico! I heard that the PS3 is partly backwards compatible with the PS2, in the same (disappointing) vain as the 360 is to the original Xbox. The PS3's price is pathetic, and the coverage I've read on the console is that the games are really disappointing. Most people are expecting the 360 and Wii to control most of the "nextgen" marketshare, and with the PS2 outselling the PS3 upon it's release in Japan, it's not hard to see that happening.

I think Sony could have done better, the step up from PS1 to PS2 was something to be excited about but PS2 to PS3, Seems like a letdown, fancy new design high high price. I wouldnt fork out that much loot for a PS3 , I can tell you that much . its like almost 2 months rent !

The major thing the PS3 seems to have over the 360 is the Blu-ray drive, but Microsoft is releasing a HD DVD for the 360 as an optional extra, and it will still work out cheaper than the PS3.
Is there any reason you're particularly considering the PS3 (over other consoles), Glenn?

I agree Liz, I loved my Gamecube because it was box like, and small, the wii is all sleak! Glenn there was Final fantasy crystal chronicles for the Gamecube , it sucked but still . and going from the list 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10, maybe 10-2 were all great games, 11,12 etc; sucked, and still suck, are you sure ps3 for ff is a good idea ?
