What do you make in the game? And I'm assuming you bid with gold from the game, rather than real money?

Money from the game, though you can buy Gold for the game offline too, which is just weirdness imo. Lower level items sell for less, then higher level items can get a lot of gold. There are merchants in all the places, so a lot of things get sold there, but when you have items that other players could use and want, auction house can get you more money.

Okay, I can see how that can become addictive. Still, I must stay away from the game.

The whole game is addictive I have given up jewelcrafting though, while I was making some nice things, so many players are jewelcrafters that its not worth the money it takes to make the stuff. (need to buy ore to make stuff - luckily for me Bernie is a miner, but he can make loads of money selling it now instead of giving it to me) so I have picked a gathering skill, Herbalism. Now I am selling my herbs for money ;D I got up to 80 in skill already in an hour, with my travel form its quick and easy going around the lower level areas collecting - the beasts die in one hit so they dont get in my way in those areas

Herbalism? You can be a drug dealer in WoW?

Are you close to having a mount yet? It would be even quicker then

There's a manager at work who I'm convinced was interested in that offer. He had the ad printed out at his desk.

I haven't tried playing it yet...largely because I can't afford it right now, because don't you subscribe monthly or something? Or maybe that's a different game I'm thinking of. But I have watched others play it and just watching it is addictive. So, I figure I should stay away from it or I'll have no time to write lesson plans.

Yep its a monthly payment, but its not that expensive Shut up Allan No I don't have a mount yet, I'm only at level 36, 4 more levels to go! I am already exalted with Darnassus, so they will let me BUY a tiger - but I can't ride it until level 40 anyway! The 90G needed isnt looking QUITE as scary now, I have 76G

What is this mount of which you speak? They don't even give you a fricking horse or something for your magic midgets to ride around on?!

No you don't get a mount when you start You have to earn one At level 40, depending on your relationship with each faction, you can get a mount (there are different kinds for each faction) so you aren't as slow when traveling around. At level 60 you can get a better one.

The nightsaber is the most awesome one. I have a level 70 Mage, a level 57 Druid and a level 49 Undead.

I'm only exalted with Darnassus so the nightsaber is all I could get now, but I am revered with all the others. I'm at Bernie's level now so I might start a new character too, but I don't know what sort of character to start I might go a hunter, I like the idea of a pet, either that or a warlock. And shush I know 76G isnt a lot... they sell stuff for that amount

I started a Draenei Shaman who does skinning and leatherworking. She has red pigtails My Druid is at the same level as Bernie's Mage now so we have agreed to only use those characters when we play together so we level up together 3 and a bit more levels to my mount You lot should start characters on Kargath server

I saw that... but no release date. My druid is level 47 now, but I've sneaked over to Shattrath so I could train in herbalism higher Pretty pointless though really, as I can't go any higher until I reach lvl 58 now anyways all the herbs on Azeroth are grey now. Hopefully I'll be at lvl 70 by the time the new expansion comes out - I'm interested in this inscription profession. And the death knight sounds pretty cool.

Has anyone gotten the first expansion? And was it worth the money?
