It had awesome games on there. Zelda was great, and it had so many fun party games.

I miss my Gamecube, Great console, but the release of the Wii meant Nintendo were no longer producing games for it, truthfully I dont think Nintendo cared alot for gamecube. My Snes is the best console ever, I love it and my old Nes to. Sony miss out on ALOT, look at the Xbox, Microsoft Lead on the online console side, Nintendo lead on the gimmicks and interactive stuff, Sony Charge silly prices for nothing new, with the days where we have HDTV , no one gives a crap if the Playstation plays Blu Ray . The Ps2 however was a great machine , and still is . The wii is a little lack luster on its online play, but it has games like mario and zelda that are unique to the console, and wii sports/fitness etc; Nintendo are making breakthroughs into a new generation of games, way before any of the other systems.

I always thought the Wii would be a gimmick with little success, but Nintendo proved me wrong. It's good to see that something "different" is beating out newer technology.
Re the GameCube, I'm not sure if it's that Nintendo didn't care about it, but it really flopped big time here. Everyone bought the PS2 and Xbox, leaving the GameCube without much of a market, meaning limited games. But I loved mine, though.
