Left off Playstation III as I doubt many of us have tried it. So which do you like best?

I said other because it is a draw between PS3 and the Wii.
I love the PS3 on one hand because the graphics are excellent and the added bonus of it being a Blu-ray player is definately good.
The Wii for more when I am in an active mood and you have your friends over and want to do something, the Wii is good for that.

I've only tried X-Box of those listed, so I chose other. I like the old school nintendo and super nintendo. N-64 was pretty fun too. We stopped buying consoles after PlayStation and I wasn't a huge fan of that.

You also left off Xbox 360, Beck. And that's my one. Sammy, PS3 has the Blu-Ray in it, but you can by a HD-DVD for the 360, and it still works out cheaper than the PS3. And all the critics have been saying it's a disappointing console. They're calling the current generation the "Wii60", since you can get everything between the two of them, and skip the PS3.

I picked other, because I don't think I like one the best. I like SNES, N64, GameCube, PS2 and the Wii equally.

The GameCube was great, and very underrated. Sadly, there wasn't much support for it here in Aus.

I choose "other" too, because I don't really have a favourite one. I love them all! In my experience, every console that was created has had something particular that no other ever had. Here is a list of a few consoles/computers that would deserve to be on that list, imo: Atari 2600 Nintendo NES Nintendo SNES Sega Master System Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast Neo Geo NEC PC Engine Commodore 64 And there actually would be many others. All those machines made history. Play Space Invaders or Pole Position on the Atari 2600 and you'll still have fun even with blocky graphics and crappy sound. Play the original Super Mario Bros on any of the Nintendo cartridge-based systems, and it will blow you out of your mind. Same thing with Sonic for Sega systems. Play Skies of Arcadia in the Sega Dreamcast and you'll experience the greatest 3D RPG ever created. Play California Games on the C64, and discover yourself why it was considered to be the king of 8-bit computers. The memories I have thanks to those machines cannot be matched by anything else. And without them, today there would be no Xbox, no PS3, no Wii. That's why I cannot choose just one of them. They would all equally deserve to be on that list, and in our hearts

Well with XBox 360 and PS2 I kinda figured they would just go under the 'playstation' and 'xbox' catagories :dunno: I was hardly going to name every console ever

I know Beck, LOL If any of you guys wants to re-live the memories tied to anyone of those systems, just download an emulator Most of today's PCs are powerful enough to run those games even better than the original machines Maybe configuring some emulator isn't very easy, but believe me, after it's done you won't regret you did And I can help you out if you want It's one of the few things I know how to do properly!

The emulators are fun, though I've only ever used the ones for Megadrive/SNES and previous games, playing the real retro ones. Re the PlayStation and Xbox, that's fair enough, Beck. But I would have classed the Wii and GameCube under the same thing, too - granted, the Wii is "different" but its backwards compatibility is better than the other two.

I'm not sure about Assassins Creed, but GTA4 is definitely getting a release on the 360. And unlike the previous GTA games, it will be released the same time as the PS3 version, so I won't have to wait.

I didn't like many of the Nintendo consoles until the Wii came out. Playstation has always been my favourite.

I chose PS2. I had a Gamecube, but I couldn't find the games for it that I can find for PS2, so I prefer it.

That was the annoying thing about the Gamecube - It's a great console, but it really wasn't looked after in the Western market.

Mine died years ago, but it was a brilliant console. Definitely the best of it's time, and it had so many classic games.

Yeah, can't really vote here as I'm torn between Xbox (the old) and PSP. But in all around I think Xbox because I have a modified *caugh* one so I can hook it up to my computer and via a program called 'media center' I can check out all the videos, pics etc on my computer via my xbox ;D

The GameCube was great, and very underrated. Sadly, there wasn't much support for it here in Aus. I found that the games, apart from Mario, were a bit crap. Chaos Bleeds is quite terrible imo.
