There has been a bit of discussion about Oblivion, and the previous Elder Scrolls games in the "favourite games" thread, so I figured I'd ask people what their favourite Elder Scrolls game is, and discuss the series, without spamming up that thread.

It's hard to choose between Morrowind and Oblivion for me, I'll go for Oblivion though. Morrowind has something Oblivion doesn't though, it just seems a lot more epic and open, even thought Oblivion is HUGE Well, they're both great games, but I guess I'll go with Oblivion.

I thought Oblivion was bigger than Morrowind. Morrowind does have a couple of expansions to its name, though.

Oblivion is bigger then Morrowind, I just mean an aspect of the game. Morrowind feels more epic to me and a lot more dangerous, which sounds weird and is hard to explain

ive recently started playing oblivion and im so addicted, hence my absence from kax, plot wise i have hardly scratched the surface yet already i have clocked up about 50 hours of playing time, the game is huge!!! with all the different guilds it has so much replay value, i choose to be an assassin,

I really have to fire Oblivion up again. I got pissed off when my 360 died, and I had to replace it - losing all the work I'd done in the process.

I am desperately waiting for my Elder Scrolls: Oblivion: Game of the year edition which i believe has two expansions with it. Its out of stock everywhere but have it on order with Amazon. Anyone else have this edition?

No, I don't, but I've heard that the expansions are nothing short of brilliant. They really add a lot to it, apparently.

i have the standard version but it comes with the knights of the nine quests anyway, so the game of the year edition only has the shivering isle as an extra but when i got oblivion it cost £20 more, i may get the game of the year version when it comes down in price tho
