I'm bumping this one since it only had two replies.
For total freakiness I'm going with the Inbreds from Wrong Turn (and other similar movies that scare the heebie jeebies out of me).
Best monster I'll say Godzilla, it was pretty realistic, not c-grade at all. I'll add Jaws too, even though the robot shark looked fake, every time I think 'beach' I think 'shark'.
And creepy but awesome goes to the 'The Ring' girl. And I'm talking about the Japanese version, not the wimpy American version.

I'm going to have to agree with Liz, about the Exorcist demon. It's the scariest by far! Anything pure evil, soulless creeps me out more than monsters. (Michael Meyers for example ... scary).

I haven't seen many of those movies (Elm Street, Halloween, Friday 13th) only the new ones, Freddy v Jason, Halloween H20, Jason X. I also haven't seen the Alien movies. I saw both Alien v Predator movies which were cool, and both Predator ones. Predator kicks butt in the best alien category (and way ugly without the helmet)
