Guitar Hero

..is evil. These games are like crack! I didn't think I'd like them before I played them. In fact I thought it was kind of dumb. If you can play guitar why wouldn't you just play a real one? Then I got hooked. It's 2 that I'm playing but they all amount to about the same and I've played at least two other editions. I'm (sadly) proud to say that I've beaten the medium setting but Hard is crazy...well...hard. I can't even imagine how people play expert. Are real guitars this difficult to play? Is that why I never learned an instrument?

Anybody else play/been hooked on this game? (do you know any cheats?)

Yeah its a great game I find it pretty hard. what with my lack of coordination and all And no i honestly don't think real guitars are as hard as some of those of songs!! Of course the only song i've ever played on a real guitar is Cats in the Cradle back in high school. Plus i had a few lessons with my cousins before he declared me a completely tone deaf dumbass

I finally completed the 3rd one. Thankfull that you dont have to complete every single song .

I have seen people play the faster songs, on the hard setting, so that all of the coloured buttons are involved and get 100%! I cant even play the game with the orange button

I'm alright on beginner and that's only if I know the song that I'm playing. I guess if I played more often I'd get better. It is fun, and if I bought it, that's all I'd do this summer, so I better not.

I'm pretty good on beginner. We have it on the Wii and it's so awesome.

Can anybody actually play well with the orange button enabled along with the rest?

My little brother can! He's been playing Nintendo and stuff since he was 4, so I guess he's used to pressing buttons.

I want to get one for the wii but I'm reluctant without trying it out first. It'd be cool if nintendo would sign the release to allow rentals on their games then I could really 'try before I buy'

You can't rent Nintendo games in the UK? I'm pretty sure you can in Australia...

I'd say go for it Tash, it's so awesome. Can you play it in a department store or something?

Well here ( in Scotland) renting games isn't popular anymore, atleast not like it used to, when I was a kid we would rent Playstation games alot, but now people seem to know if a game is going to be good or not, take mario kart, super smash brawl , guranteed those games would be great.

I love guitar hero 3's battles!, Axl Rose makes me so mad when he breaks one of my on screen buttons, then reverses everything .

This is soooooooo loud They have some pretty good songs, Bernie prefers playing to drums to the guitar on ours. I have no coordination at either

Bernie, Chrissy and I had a go at this last night. I was proud of 99% on Silverchair's Tomorrow Some songs would be so hard if you don't know the words (I sang, I am too unco on the instruments) and I was surprised by how high octave The Kill is.

I love Guitar Hero, I have Band Hero and me and John sit there for hours playing it. He is very OCD about once you start a gig you have to finish it in order. So I play guitar or sing. My drum kit got broken on the move from Perth to Sydney. I can play medium but only get like 75%, if I play easy I always get above 90%.

I have never tried with it on any difficulty other than easy, I suck enough at that level Bernie does it on medium and gets 90%+ on most songs, and has tried it on hard sometimes.
