Memorable Moments

Well I don't know about everyone else, but its been awhile since I watched any Buffy or Angel so I haven't had much to talk about in the Jossverse sections. Plus, well we've argued it all before!

Anyway, what moments from either show are the most memorable to you? For good or bad, or even silly reasons.

"no more butt-monkey" from Zander, from the Dracula episode I think. I'd never heard butt-monkey being used before and it cracked me up, even though it was a serious moment.

I haven't watched any Buffy or Angel in years Firefly still gets a run though every now and then.

Memorable moments for me......

1. Cross burning into Angels chest in Angel. First moment i realised i loved the show all those years ago

2. Becoming PII I bawled and bawled watching it. And could not stop talking about it. The obsession really kicked in then.

3. Watching Hush the first time and just thinking Joss was a genius. Telling everyone i knew that this episode would convert them as fans.

4. Once more with Feeling. Spike and Buffy finally And singing the songs for weeks afterwards like big dorks (remember that pissed night in your back yard Beck?? )

5. The end of Smashed. It was hot

6. Hero couldn't believe i cared so much about a character who hadn't been around that long.

7. Spitting chips over Cordelia and Angel. Didn't buy it then and still don't buy it now no matter how much people try and convince me.

In no particular order:

The Good Moments:
1) The sword fight in Becoming Part 2.

2) I Will Remember You - the whole ep was just Bangel heaven.

3) Buffy killing Angel

4) The end of Chosen

5) Wesley in Spin the Bottle

6) The Girl in Question - the awesome change Amy Acker does between Illyria and Fred. It's then when I realise this girl can act.

7) Snyder getting eaten

8) Willow and Xander at the end of Grave

9) Buffy's swan dive in The Gift

The Bad Moments:
1) Cordy and Conner - how many times can you say 'eww'?

2) Angel and Cordy

3) Angel's 'Irish accent'

That's all I can remember. I haven't watched season 7 in years so I might add more when I rewatch it soon.

Pretty much agree with everything on the list, except for DH's Epitaph One and Smile Time. Surprise to see those on the list. Briar Rose should be in there instead of Epitaph One, imo.

Pretty good list. I don't mind E1 being on there. I'd prefer "Briar Rose" to "Man on the Street," but both were good episodes and a line has to be drawn somewhere or else everything would be on the list. The only AtS episodes I really agree with being on there are "Hero" and NFA. I definitely disagree with "Smile Time" making the list. The other AtS episodes I can't even remember well enough to comment on whether or not they deserve to be there. I've only watched all of AtS once and that was years ago, so I'm sure they're better than I'm remembering.

From Firefly:

1) Jaynestown - so many things in that ep was memorable, especially the look on Simon and everyone's face when they find Jaynes' statue.

2) Mal and the gang finding out his married.

3) Book's hair

4) Jayne's hat in The Message

5) River 'being' Serenity in Objects in Space

[Forsaken]

There were many great bits in Firefly. No question but the ones that really stand out are various peaks into River's head, War Stories, Objects in Space, Jayne'stown, and especially the thing about a man being dead/somebody just carried the bullet awhile in a message home. God! That show was fantastic! I hate Fox!
