After rewatching season 6 I thought about how much I disliked the Willow going evil arc. It made no sense The Warren bit, yes. Wanting revenge on Jonathan and Andrew, maybe. The way she was to her friends, no. Druggie or no, I just found it bad. Drug addicts do hurt people they love I know, but I found it over the top and silly Meh. What did everyone else think?

I don't think it made much sense either but I didn't mind it, Willow was a very powerful witch and it kind of makes sense that she touched into bad magic she was at one with the earth on top of a Hellmouth, I think it had to happen. I didn't think it made for a season main arc though, I hated seeing her being so mean to her friends. Perhaps it would have been better as a couple of episodes dealing with it.

Willow annoyed me throughout the season. I only enjoyed her when she became bad. But I get why she would turn on her friends though. To me, the storyline made some sort of sense and I think it was meant to be over the top - so I didn't mind it at all. I just didn't like Willow before she went bad. I felt like slapping her whenever she came on screen.

After re-watching it, it's definitely not my favorite season, but I can understand it. I don't think it was so much her turning on her friends, it was just they were getting in the way. Obviously if she would have killed all three of the geeks, who knows what else she would have done bad. But watching it again, I don't like it nearly as much as I did the first time.

But watching it again, I don't like it nearly as much as I did the first time. I agree. It loses its appeal after multiple watchings. I think I enjoyed the standalone eps a lot more than the overall arc eps.
