So who are your favourite comedians, whether they're stand-up, tv, movies. Any you think are not worth laughing at?
I love Carl Barron (aussie). He is doing four shows here in July which I would love to go and see. I also have both of his dvds. I also have the tv series and the final tour dvd of Lano and Woodley.
While Jim Carey is funny, sometimes I think he overdoes his role. Ace Ventura was so damn annoying, but I really liked Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty.
And I love watching Good News Week (Raimon says if I laugh any harder I'll lay eggs) and Who's Line is it Anyway (I wish it was shown here on free-tv)
But I don't think there's anything funny about Russell Brand (?)

I love Colin. He is fabulous. I agree that Jim Carey goes over the top sometimes, but other times, I really like him. My favorites are Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, and Steve Carell. I'm not really big on stand-up. There's only a few I like. Sometimes Jeff Dunham, the guy with the puppets, is pretty funny though.

I had to look Jeff Dunham up, he has Achmed the Dead Terrorist. He's just as good as David Strassman (gotta love Ted E Bear when Chuck said he could eat his pet turtle)

I love GNW. My favourite comedian is by far Ross Noble. He cracks me up everytime I see him on something. Bernie and I really want to go see him the next time he comes here, every time he has we've been busy or had no one to ask to watch the kids.

Whose line is hilarious So is mock the week & QI. I like Adam Sandler, Robin Williams, Lee Evans and I love seeing the comedians at the royal variety performance. Comedy is one of few things the British are good at

GNW is one of my long time faves. I went to a taping once and i've never laughed so much Would love to go to a taping of Thank God You're Here. And i would have given anything to go to a taping of The Late Show back in the day. Champagne comedy!! I could watch 'Charlie the Wonder Dog and the Pissweak Kids' all day!!! Chris Lilley is a genius. Summer Heights High and We Can Be Heroes were hilarious. Stand up wise Jimeoin, Bob Franklin, Carl Barron and Wil Anderson were all great when i saw them. Robin Williams Broadway special was surprisingly funny and how can you go past Delirious for comedy!!! I remember my friends and i watched that over and over when we were about 15 (when we got a bootleg VHS copy) and i still quote it to this day

I discovered Jeff Dunham last night. Saw a bit of his standup on Comedy Central once and stumbled upon his show on YouTube last night. Man, he is awesome! www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go

I've been watching more stand-up lately and I have discovered my love for Louis C.K. He is just perfect. I also just watched Rob Delaney (a pretty popular social networking comedian; I follow him on Twitter and he has some funny tweets) on Netflix and that was pretty funny, too.

Has anyone seen the reboot of Whose Line? The sideways scene is the best addition to the show. Also, Miranda Hart is my favourite comedian at the moment. ;D

Yup - Wayne, Colin and Ryan are in it. The 4th person is different for every episode like the old one. Only change is that Aisha Tyler is hosting instead of Drew Carey. And now they have a guest actor for every episode to come in for some of the sketches.
