Ok so there are some celebrities out there who deserve the recognition they get, for being great actors, musicians, ambassadors etc. But are there any that you see and think "why the hell are you famous"?
I think the guys from Jackass, while sometimes amusing, they get paid $$$ to be stupid. All they do is inflict pain on themselves and each other in the most immature ways.

I can't stand the guys from Jackass. They're all very obnoxious and unintelligent.  I think Paris Hilton tops the list of being famous for no good reason other than entertainment. |

Kim Kardashian is annoying. She was originally famous for being in a sex-tape though right? And her dad was OJ's lawyer?

Yeah her dad was OJ's lawyer and her mom is now married to an Olympic winner, Bruce something. I actually watch their show a lot.  It's entertaining even though it's obviously scripted. |

He's a radio host, and up until he got fired a few weeks ago, was a judge on Australian Idol. On his radio show he (and his co-host) did like a lie-detector test over the radio with a young girl who said she's been raped and he basically made a mockery of her. Got suspended from radio for 2 weeks, and got sacked from Idol. Then last week (I think) he said on radio that one of our great female comedians (who recently lost a lot of weight and happens to be Polish heritage) would lose more weight is she went to a concentration camp. He's in the doghouse again with another suspension. He's a moron, and has always been like that. But he is famous for being a radio personality, not for being a sociallite like Kim Kardishan or Paris Hilton. So I don't think he really fits the famous for being famous... though his mouthing off off-air seems to be getting him better known now than his on-air job.
