Favourite moment.

My brother recently asked me about my favourite moments of Firefly, funny moments that is.

His:
1] The Train Job - Mal is trying to give the big bad guy his money back and tells him he won't steal the medicine. The bad guy tells him to keep the money and buy a funeral because he is going to hunt him down. Mal kicks the bad guy into Firefly's engine and then brings the next guy up and starts to say the exact same thing to him - which the next guy agrees with.

2] Objects In Space - Mal and the bounty hunter are fighting and Jayne (who is in bed) wakes up with an angry look on his face. He grabs the sheet next to his bed and pulls it down revealing all his guns, then he wraps the sheet around him and goes back to sleep.

3] Serenity - The Fed is holding River at gunpoint and is telling Simon to put the gun down and no one will get hurt when Mal just strolls in and casually shoots him mid sentence.

My favorite moments that I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Shindig - When Mal stabs that guy three times ...

"Mal: Sure. It would be humiliating. Having to lie there while the better man refuses to spill your blood. Mercy is the mark of a great man.
[lightly stabs Atherton with the sword]
Mal: Guess I'm just a good man.
[stabs him again]
Mal: Well, I'm all right. " I love it.

2. All of Out of Gas

3. When Jayne tries to memorize his lines for the "Ariel" operation.

This thread made me realise how long I've seen an episode! Can't remember any of my favourite moment right now.

I thought there was a thread like this, but I can't see it either.

I haven't watched it in so long One part that does come to mind is the "I'm alright" quote of Bre's from Shindig. I know Wash and Jayne had a lot of lines that cracked me up.

I liked the scene River was apologizing to Book for 'fixing' his bible when she tore out the pages, he had his hair undone and looked like some crazy professor with a huge Afro and she screamed and hid! Her comment when Zoe tells her the hair is away now, made me laugh. "It will still be there...waiting"

The entire episode Jaynestown. It was hilarious and made me love Jayne even more than I already did Simon is hilarious in the entire episode too.

I just re-watched the whole series again because I had to introduce the show to John (he loved it)

Kaylee and Strawberries, or just Kaylee with food, makes me laugh, lol

Book's hair and River fixing the bible are also favourites. Rewatching has made me remember how much i really loved this show.
