I tried to do a region free hack thing on my DVD player because apparently my Memorex only plays Region 1 but I won't know if it works until I put a different region disc in. BUT I found out how to change it on my laptop for sure, so it should work on here if not my DVD player. |

JB HiFI had 20% off all DVDs today so being my birthday Bernie couldn't say no  So I got Vampire Diaries Season 1 - never really gave it a chance on TV but didn't mind the little I saw. After Loz's reviews and for $22 thought why not. Breaking Bad Season 1 - have heard it is brilliant and was only $20 before the 20% off. Queen of the Damned - $7! (again before the discount) Cats and Dogs 2 - for the kids Scott Pilgrim vs the World |

Most recent one was Veronika Decides to Die and Possession. Only got them 'cause SMG was in them. How much did you end up spending on it? I've bought many DVDs I'm sure since I last posted. Most recently, I got The Fountain and Six Feet Under season 4. Have you seen The Fountain yet? I didn't get it. Though the cinematography was awesome. |

Aussies with Blu-Rays or PS3's there is a decent selection of BR's at JB's for $15 each and it's buy 2 get 1 free. Picked up Serenity, Armageddon and Speed. There are newer ones in too but I didnt want any. Thought I'd pick up three of my faves for $10 each!

I want a Blu-ray player.  I always buy Blu-ray movies because they have better special features and so I just watch them at my brother's since he has a PS3. Last movie I bought was Black Swan blu-ray. |
