So this started here last night and I have mixed feelings about it. I didn't mind it, but I didn't love it. I do remember it taking a few episodes to warm up to Atlantis though.

Did you see the entire season yet Beck? it is currently on Hiatus here should be back soon though.
I have to say personally I found it slow and boring until the last few episodes. The last one in particular I enjoyed a lot. I like Rush he comes from the Homeland and I like the Doctor Chick.

Didn't know it was on dvd already!. They made it sound like they were just taking a break between shooting on tv but it was obvious they really meant season 1 was finished, so maybe it is the entire season I will have a look.
I personally felt SGU was a watered down version of BSG, I definitely enjoy Atlantis more though but season 2 of SGU looks pretty good.

Well I watch it and will watch every, but i just dont have the same feeling As i did with the other 2, it just does not seem like Stargate to me. I was very disappointed when they show then having sex.

It surprisingly does get better, right at the end. I am eagerly awaiting the new season, although it doesn't rate as highly as sga & sg1.
What I don't understand is the writers said not to compare it to the other two, it is a separate entity and yet they have had Jack, Sam, Daniel and now McKay make appearances, to me that says ratings are not to high and they are using previous characters to attract more fans.

I didn't give it enough of a chance, maybe when the season 1 DVD comes out I'll give it a proper go.

This sucks right when things get good they cancel it. Just like every stargate show.

They start the seasons so slow, the begging of season one was horrible and it gets/got so much better, it was like they kept all the good stories until they started losing viewers. I think SGU is good, will probably add it to our collection.

Not me but I will be buying the first season when the price becomes not so high, will discuss it then!
