Hey guys! So basicly, while I've been away I've been studying to become a film writer/director. I'm going to be posting some of my work over the next few days and would really love some feed back. Below is a short-horror called Sally. It was shot in July 2009. It was for 48 hour film challenge (writing, directing and editing in that space of time) and the ending it quite rushed (as you shall see) as the camera was running out of life! I directed Sally, but did not write the script. 2nd Prize in Best Film - Totton College (my college) Media Awards Audience Favourite Award - Preloader Film Festival Hope you like it, please leave feed back

Very awesome. For 2 days, that's pretty damn good. I think more close-ups would have been nice (I saw some towards the end). More reactions shots, maybe. And I'm not a huge fan of the simple fade transitions, but I can't really complain for 48 hours! Was it pretty difficult shooting it in the woods? It would be difficult with the weather, I think. But you managed to keep good lighting! And I like that you did some low-angle shots. Good for horror flicks!

Thank you very much Bre It was wrote in 2 hours, filmed in just under 6 and the rest of the time was spent on editing...always the longest part! lol Filming in the woods was a challenge, but we were pretty lucky with the lighting. The weather was all fake, I mean it rained a little at one point, but we put an over-lay of thunder and rain over the top. Cheers for the feed back, always nice to hear peoples opinions!
