It was nicely done! Though the whole sitting in the rain and coming to his apartment dripping wet was a bit cliche.

I'm so glad that it finally happened and that we don't have to wait for another 10 seasons for it.

Season 5 is going to be good. I wonder if they'll hide it from the rest of the team.

Question: Do you have any scoop on the season of premiere of Castle? —Ivy
Ausiello: Well, Castle and Beckett obviously know they hooked up, and we know they hooked up, but what about everyone else? “It’ll be fun to see who finds out about them being together — who stays out of the loop and for how long and how they decide to reveal all of that,” Stana Katic shared with us at the Critics’ Choice Awards, where she was a presenter. “That’s a big bombshell.” But speaking of bombshells, Katic feels that the unsolved murder of Beckett’s mother could hang a cloud over Kate and Rick’s otherwise happy coupling. “One of the things that I, as viewer, am curious about is … her mother’s murder. Even though the two of them have gotten together, that still looms over them.”

Question: Since it seems there won’t be much in the way of Castle spoilers coming out of Comic-Con this year, do you have anything you can share that will help us through the hiatus? —Rachel
Ausiello: The new season will pick up pretty much where last season left off.

I was just wondering if they'll keep it quiet and not reveal everything to everyone. Would be more fun watching them try to hide it from everyone else. Well, I think it would be more fun anyway.

And can I just say how I hate Stana Katic and her hair. Seriously. One minute it's all soaking wet and in the next it's all perfectly mussed and glowing. Not. Fair.

It's a team of hairdressers, a lot of product and about an hour of work that created that "mussed" hair They both looked lovely in that opening.

It was a decent start to the season. Elevator scene at the end made me laugh

Heh. That elevator scene took me by surprise. Didn't know Beckett had it in her.

I'm enjoying how they are doing the Castle/Beckett relationship. Strong start to the season imo.

Agreed. They are doing a good job with it. I like how Beckett is all in and really wants him. I thought she'd be weird and standoffish!

Ditto. Really enjoying it and very happy with how things are going with them.

Looking forward to the next ep. It would be interesting to see who'll find out from Castle's arrest - though I have a feeling Lanie already knows about them and not saying anything.

Superhero convention episode was great. I am really enjoying this season

I didn't love it in general, but i liked all the in-jokes and the Captain was wicked

Finally all caught up on Castle, still enjoying it. I really want that senator to get it though, grr.

I think Beckett's story need to take a backseat for awhile and let Castle have his own story now.

You know i realised in that ep with Castle's ex-wife (now know to me as Abby from Scandal) how little we know about him and his past....

I know the latest double ep was a bit Taken-ish but I loved it
