I don't think it was a car crash, more an abduction maybe. And yes, so was I. But not because of that, they just made it way too many things on the day of the wedding. No venue, no dress, BULLSHIT. Yeah, also think it's an abduction and that someone is trying to ruin the wedding (hence everything going wrong). 3XK maybe. Well, I do hope that's the case. If it's not, I'll be very disappointed. I really don't understand why fans are upset over this. It's a TV show. It's a finale. What do you think will happen? Did the last 5 season finales not teach you anything about cliffhangers?  Lol. |

I just started watching castle in the last month, I haven't watched the first 3 seasons but did watch season 4,5,6 and now 7!

S1-S5 were good. Then it went downhill from there. Still watch it though. Mostly out of habit.  |

At the Firefly panel, Nathan said the new show runner has written on Castle for a while and is making it really great. He also invited Adam Baldwin back and Summer Glau to be on it!
I'm almost done with season 5 and still loving it.

The 'new' showrunners were on Castle from Season 1 to 2 (maybe season 3 and 4 I can't remember). They were on when the show was really good so I"m excited to see if they would bring back the charm of the old Castle into this season.
Yeah Baldwin is back and I'm curious to see how his character is being brought back. I really want to see Alan Tudyk on the show though.

There isn't. They need to face facts that the show has been going downhill for a while now. The whole story with them being apart because it was to dangerous for them to be together but then they were secretly together was ridiculous!

First off, I'm way behind on the show. But I think the show (story-wise) could be done without her. However, like you said, Nico, I've just heard it's been getting worse and worse so they're probably better off just cancelling. From what I've been reading, she and Nathan haven't been getting along. He could easily say he won't do the show without her, but he obviously didnt.

They can do the show without her but much of the fanbase is her fans. The show will lose majority of the viewers without the Beckett/Katic fans.
Rumours of her and NF not getting along have been there for years now so I don't pay much attention to it. You can easily tell they aren't good friends off the show but I doubt they were so at odds with each other that he got her fired. But you're right Bre, NF could have easily said he won't do the show without her.
I think the reason why she was let go could be because she wanted more money (heard she's getting paid way less than NF is) and the network is not willing to give in.
They should just cancel the show.

NF have signed on for s9 though the show has not been officially renewed. Curious to see how s9 will work without Beckett but I doubt I'll stick around for the whole thing. I"m already quite bored with the current season. Haven't been caught up with what's happening on the show.
