Rooney definately he will be up for it, Ronaldo too, maybe Scholes or Giggs
It will either a really tight match and a winner will be nicked in the last 20mins or it will be end to end with 3/4 goals but I've pretty much accepted now that Millan will get 1 or 2 goals

YYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!! 1-0 after 5mins!!! this is gonna be a huge game
Bloody hell! we knew the defending was gonna be a problem but I didn't count on it coming from Evra. The equaliser Kaka deserved it was a fine goal, but the second was Shocking from United
we'll still bring it back

Kaka is an awesome player. Definately up there as one of the best in the world. Mourinho should offer whatever it takes to get him in the Premiership. Even offer Lampard in a swap deal plus cash Come on United you can do it.

True but when we can rally like we did in the second half its just meant to be! we are destined to win the trebble this year same as we were in '99

*runs in screaming* Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! We played a brilliant second half and we thoroughly deserved winning this tie. It could have been 4-2. Carrick missed a wonderful chance before our second goal. It's not going to be easy in Milan with their 2 away goals but with this kind of mentality, we can definitely win and reach the finals. I was watching the match at 4am and because everyone was asleep, I had to try so hard not to scream or jump around. I think I cried because of that! Btw, I'm not very sure how the away goal rule works. I know a 3-3 draw (on aggregate) would see Milan going through. But what about a 4-4?

It was fantastic wasn't it! I was high for like an hour afterwards There's no way I would have been able to keep quiet last night I was shouting at the tv all night! If we draw 4-4 Millan would still go through because they would have 2 away goals and we would only have 1, if the score line was 5-5 I think it would go to extra time then penalties. So in Millan we need to either win the game, draw 0-0 or 5-5 or 6-6

That's a tall order. It's a bit risky to go into the game looking for a 0-0 score. We have to win it no matter what! The second half showing was probably as good as the performance against Roma. I was sure that Sir Alex would put in Smith or Solskjaer to try to get the winning goal. I felt Sir Alex made a mistake by putting out a 4-5-1 formation - Smith should have started up front instead of Fletcher. Well, whatever the manager said at half time surely did the trick. Champion League finals here we come!

Fletcher did well in the second half but I agree I was waiting for Smith to give us a life but I guess he wanted to prove that we could do it without needing subs.
I just thought a 1-1 draw would do it as well because we'd be 4-3 up. As long as Millan don't win the 2nd leg and bring the agg level we'll go through

I guess a 1-1 draw will be alright but it's a bit risky. Right now, attack is our best defence and we showed that last night. Fletcher certainly did well in the second half. There was a lot more shape to the team than in the first half. But I think Scholes was man of the match for me. He dominated the midfield a lot better in the second half for me.

Thanks, hon. Ah, so Liverpool lost. But I believe they'll win the second leg comfortably and reach the finals. Whatever happens, I don't want to see Chelsea going through!

Liverpool better win their home match! atleast they are only 1 down. Good news is Ferdinand and Vidic should be back for Millan, bad news is I can't watch the match but I'll listen to it on the radio Everton tomorrow lunch time! a match I can actually watch I really hope we can get it done I really can't face the heart attack of a draw! My brother must be insane, he turned down the offer of a ticket to the match! he would have been in the Everton stands but I would have still gone for it and risked getting beat up

What was he thinking? Tomorrow would be a tricky match for us. Everton are no pushovers at home. All 3 points are vital for us. But I'm sure we'll be able to get the deed done. Our confidence is high at the moment. I see a 2-0 win for us. Chelsea are playing at the same time as us, which is not good for my remote. I'll probably be switching the channels just to keep tabs on the score. Good to hear about Vidic and Ferdinand! I hope at least one of them makes it for the Milan game. Would give me a peace of mind. Saha will be on the bench tomorrow according to manutd.com. That's good news too. If he is able to go through the match tomorrow without picking up yet another injury, we'll have more fire power against Milan - which is always good. ;D

What a game. What a comeback! If this doesn't show that United is destined to win the title, I don't know what will. We were lucky to get all three points. We looked tired throughout, even though we had more possession and dominance in the 2nd half. But we didn't give up and like true champions, we made sure that we win no matter what or how. The Blues dropping points at home is just the icing on the cake. A win at Man City next week (with Chelsea losing at Arsenal), the title is OURS!!!

Even if both teams draw we win the title, once were 6 points up there's no chance of coming back against that, even if we lost our last 2 matches and Chelsea won their last 2 we'd be level on points but we would win on goal difference easily. In the first half united played terrible, there was no urgency about us and it probably was because half the team was knackered. Still it wasn't much of an excuse for our terrible defending that gave away the free kick it was unlucky to get a deflection otherwise Van Der Sar would have made the save. The second goal was terrible defending again! That said it wasn't as bad as Everton's for us to get our first 2 goals fancy John O'shea being in the right place at the right time! he always seems to pick up those goals! Then Phil Nevile did us a favour Mind you with Richardson and Ronaldo being brought on it gave us the boost we needed and after that there was no question that we were gonna win! we should have had about 6 in the end because we missed some huge chances. Roll on Millan now! I can't wait! the team confidence is so high that even if we're down a few goals we can still bring it back. Plus Rooney and Ranaldo are linking up perfectly, I can see us having a good night at Millan

With a patched up defense like ours, I'm not surprise that we made mistakes. Though I was hoping we would at least learn from our mistakes! Honestly though, with our score-more-than-we-concede mentality, I can't complain about the defense. It gets the job done and at this stage of the season, that's the most important. I rather have a patched up defense now and have all our first choice defenders back for the finals than have the defenders now and have a patched up defense at the finals. The results against Milan and Everton just showed that we can win games no matter what the odds are. We have the confidence, the maturity, determination and the fighting spirit to take us through the season with all three trophies in the bag. With this kind of character, Wed's game against Milan will be a one that sees us through the final. I can't wait for Wed's game! It's going to be awesome!

It shall be fantastic and hopfully a couple of our defenders will be back. I've got a feeling Nevile was left out on Saturday so that he'd be ready for Millan. Just imagine the strength and leadership we'd have back with Nevile there. I really hope Liverpool can do the business on Tuesday. How much of a blow would it be for Chelsea to loose and draw in the same week! Morenio would probably come out with some shit about it being United's fault

Ooo! I would love to see Mourinho's face if they lose tomorrow. He's been tallking big about winning the quaruple. I would love to see Chelsea going home with just that League Cup. I really can't stand Mourinho and his moaning. For once, I would like to hear him say that it's his fault that he doesn't win games. Seriously! I'm surprise he hasn't come out and said that Phil Neville threw the Everton match because he was an ex-United player.
