I'm not the kind who goes to the gym to workout. I rather play a sport than gym. In my family, only my aunt goes to the gym. She goes every morning, around 630am before work. She's crazy! Who here gyms? How many times a week? Do you prefer to go to a gym or play a sport. Any of your family members gym?

I have been to a gym precisely twice in my life. Both times I found it to be a waste of time and money My step father used to go to the gym frequently though. Never noticed him lose any weight

It's all about building muscle mass - not necessarily about losing weight. Or so my aunt says. I wouldn't know what to do in a gym to be honest. Too many complex machinery.

I go. I try to go every day except Sunday, but it depends a bit on what else is scheduled that day. Sometimes it's as little as twice a week. Both my parents are members of the gym, too, but I go much more than they do. I wouldn't mind playing a sport, but I don't usually have friends I can get together with to do so--and I was one of those kids who was always picked alst in gym class, so it's made me shy away from social sport situations.

BUMP!
I used to go to the gym three or four times a week (before I had my kids). I might get back into it after Christmas. I have a treadmill but it's not the same. I never did the classes though, it was too intimidating because I'm so unco lol.

Yeah I can't see the appeal of exercising around a bunch of sweaty and gross people I'd prefer to play sport or swim at home.

And it's a bit daunting too! I don't think I want buff people watching skinny old me trying to lift weights.

I don't see the appeal of the gym either, I would rather take a leisurely walk/jog in the fresh air or play a sport I loved like Football.

My sister joined a gym awhile ago but I think she only went once. Used being pregnant as an excuse not to go but she wasn't using it before then. She still renewed her membership

I joined the gym in January (New Years resolution, hah!), and I've been going quite a lot. I basically run/walk on the treadmill for a good while, then go sit in the sauna/hot tub with my best friend. I actually really enjoy it!

0-3 times usually! I think I will go this afternoon, which makes it only twice this week...

I went to the gym today - going to try and start going regularly so I'm fit for all the walking around Japan.

Went again today! Didn't go yesterday but IKEA + DFO meant I hit over 10K steps, so that's good.
