Top 10 songs that either brings tears to your eyes, or that you listen to when you are feeling a little bit blue.
I am really sensitive to be honest so it doesn't take much for me, but my fave heart breakers in no particular order are:
1. One sweet Day- Boys II Men & Mariah Carey 2. Tears in Heaven- Eric Clapton 3. Wish you were Here- Incubus 4. Come Back to Me- Trading Yesterday 5. Slipped Away- Avril Lavigne 6. Last Kiss- Pearl Jam 7. I'll be Missing You- Puff Daddy 8. Angel- Sarah McLachlan 9. Your Gaurdian Angel- Red Jumpsuit Apparatus 10.Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley

Hmm...This is a tough one for me. After looking through my iTunes, I'd have to say that these are 10 of the most likely that I'd go to when I'm feeling a little blue, but I can't say they're necessarily my top 10. Ya No--Kuky Northern Star--Alice Peacock White Flag--Dido Half-Like--Duncan Sheik Seven Days of Lonely--I Nine Greatest Story Ever Told--Oliver James White Horse--Taylor Swift And Still--Reba McEntire Only a Memory--Alice Peacock Manic Monday--The Bangles (I can't listen to that song without smiling, so it always perks me up.)

I'll agree with Hallelujah, that song always makes me feel a bit sad. My Immortal by Evanescence too. Amazed by Alex Lloyd and Lightning Crashes by Live as well, they were the songs my twins were born to.
I steer clear of sad songs when I feel down, I am much more likely to listen to something upbeat.

Depending on what mood i'm in many songs make me sad. Come What May gets me the most i think. I got teary when the Alicia Keys started singing during the opening credits of Sex and the City. Yes, i'm sad

Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah is definitely a tearjerker. I've cried listening to Let it Be before, not because it's sad though. Recently, the Foo Fighter's Best of You made me tear up a bit.

Emotions - Destiny's Child. The video clip was so sad, so for a while after I saw it, I got teary whenever I heard the song.

There's one song that always does it to me...without fail.
I Can't Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt....
that song should be outlawed, or at least forbidden on rainy days.

Do these songs make you all sad because they are sad songs, or because they remind you of other things?

For me it's often songs that make me think of clips, like whenever I hear "If I lay here, If I just lay here" I sob cause it plays during the Danny/Liz scene on GA. (It's really just that line too. Oh god I just went to watch the scene again and I'm crying... horrid, horrid scene!!!!!)

Do these songs make you all sad because they are sad songs, or because they remind you of other things? For me it's both, but Ya No and Manic Monday are cheer-me-up songs for when I'm feeling blue.
