My quotes made me decide to pick this one. A lot of you have said you are interested in doing this, so don't just watch the movie - review it here and lets discuss it! I haven't seen it in awhile, will watch it again and then review Has anyone not seen it?

I've seen most of it on TV. But that was a long time ago, and obviously they cut stuff out, so I have forgotten most of it. I guess it will kind of be my first time watching it all the way through.

Saw it over the weekend and I still love it! Though I realise now that some of the acting is quite dodgy - especially from Selma Blair. I love, love, love SMG playing the evil bitch character. She should play that sort of role often.

It isn't Selma's best acting performance thats for sure. Her mother cracks me up every time I watch it. I still need to watch it, will post a big review when I have (you should too Irene )

How old is Selma Blair supposed to be in this movie (the character)?? They make her act like she's 12 or something. I watched it tonight. There are definitely some cheesy lines, but I enjoyed it. SMG as Kathryn is interesting as I'm used to seeing her as Buffy so seeing her bitchy throughout the whole thing was a bit irksome. But she was good nonetheless. I love Ryan Phillipe even though he looks so young in this movie! Reese is the same character as she is in every movie, but it works for her. Sebastian's character growth was sweet, but seemed a bit .. fake? I guess that's what you get in a 97 minute movie, though. It was lovely seeing Joshua Jackson in the film for a bit .. I didn't remember that part at all! And I do love me some Sean Patrick Thomas. Overall, a good flick. My mom was bitching about it the whole time, though which was annoying as hell. Says there are no likable characters.

The characters at the beginning are supposed to be unlikable though. Including Reese's, she is far too much of a goody two shoes at first. Sebastion's change is a bit swift, but I do think love can do that to a person. I don't know how old Selma is supposed to be, late teens? She lived a fairly sheltered life, but she can't be too young because the reason Kathryn has her in her sights is she stole Kathryn's boyfriend.

Its based on Dangerous Liaisons remember and they are all hateful characters Sebastian's change is quick but i never had a big issue with it. I have more of an issue with Annette being painful a lot of the time. I will always love the scene where she comes up the escalator. It makes me smile every time Josh is fricking awesome Yes, i'm biased but really, who wouldn't laugh at Blaine!?!! Great character. Oh, and on the age thing, i think Cecile is meant to be about 15. The rest are seniors so 17/18.

The only reason why I watched this was because SMG was in it. ;D But I'm glad I did watch it as it's one of my favourite movie of hers. SMG did a great job of playing the evil bitch that is Kathryn. As mentioned earlier, I wished she played this kind of role more. It's fun to watch! I really liked Sebastian too. I think both of them had great chemistry together and I love how much of a twisted mind they had. However, I did find him falling in love with Annette that quickly a bit odd. I don't like Annette's character all that much. She was too perfect for me and there really isn't anything interesting about her that would make Sebastian fall for her. :-\ Cecile is probably the most annoying character in the movie but she is hilarious to watch. Though most of the time you just wished you could slap her. Anyone notice how often she gets pushed out of something by someone - bed, couch, etc. I found that really funny. Some of my favourite scenes: The one where Sebastian catches up to Annette at the train station. Even though it sounds cheesy, I really like the whole "Well, I'm impressed/Well, I'm in love" line. Love, love the last scene where Kathryn is expose for who she really is. The Verve's song combined with that great picture of Sebastian (where he looked like he was smirking) and then Annette driving away in his car really made that scene work. Hated that Sebastian died in the end. But it worked well for the movie. Cheesy lines and dodgy acting from Selma Blair aside, I would give this movie a 8.5/9 out of 10.

SMG kind of bothered me in this movie. Maybe it's because I haven't watched Buffy in a while so I kind of was hoping for some Buffy. I loved when Sebastian pushed Cecile off the bed. He was definitely my favorite character, and it was sad when he died. I also loved the Bittersweet Symphony playing at the end. Love that song. Overall, I'd give the movie 6/10.

SMG did a great job of playing the evil bitch that is Kathryn. As mentioned earlier, I wished she played this kind of role more. It's fun to watch! I remember when I first heard what role she was playing in it that i thought she would be terrible at it, but she was very good. Even the scenes where she was pretending to be nice and sweet you could see the edge underneath and that she hated doing it. Totally agree. She had some good moments, like making him laugh in the car, but mostly she was a total wet blanket. And she turned around on her chastity vow pretty darn quick despite her "protests" about it! It is because she is so darn annoying, I would push her off something too Nah, not a fan of cheesy. Plus I'd have preferred him to end up with Kathryn I do however love this scene. And wouldn't you love to be able to read that journal!! he had to die for the movie to work I think. Only a 6 rating Breezer? I love this movie, I'd give it a 9/10

He had to die because that's what happens in the original. Would have been stupid otherwise
