Split from: What%27s+For+Dinner%3F+3That's what I was thinking. One can never tell from a recipe and a photo whether the food tastes good Besides I hate having to buy a whole bunch of stuff then only need a sprinkle of it. Maybe we can have a fave recipe thread?? So it is done I like making cannelloni, and it is something our whole family loves to eat. Very simple to make too.

I make chicken parmagiana about once a week.
Chicken schnitzel, cooked under the griller. Top with tinned spaghetti sauce (or tinned tomato mix) and grated cheese and nuke in the microwave til the cheese melts.

I dooon't cook I honestly would, but my mum really likes cooking and my brother (who is currently living at home to save money) is a chef, so I don't really to need to at the moment. If I do cook, it's generally just pasta or stir-frys.

You have a chef in the house, get him to teach you to make some things, you'll be glad once you move out

He's a TERRIBLE teacher. He gets frustrated at the way I chop vegetables - um, it works fine and it's for ME not for a restaurant! I like making cupcakes. That's about the extent of my baking!

Microwave food is not real food you lot My favourites to make are lasagna(and a mexican version i made up), crumbed chicken and pesto sauce, vege pizza, heaps of salads (especially asian noodle salad). Dessert wise i'm a fan of cheesecakes (choc mint and mars bar), puddings (chocolate and butterscotch) and pies (apple and peach).

The only food I can make are a few pasta dishes. So I guess they are my favourite to make.

I love minut steaks, I marinate them for a full day, maybe close to two at the most. Then grill them up with lots of steak spice and Baked potatoes.

Raimon's favourite (a bit fattening though I think)
250g fettuccini 4 rashers of bacon chopped into little strips 6 mushrooms 300ml cream 1/4 cup grated parmesan
cook pasta. fry bacon in pan for about 2 minutes, add mushrooms and cream and simmer til it starts to thicken. add parmesan and mix well then add pasta and mix until it looks good.

We had this with veggies a few nights ago but we melted the cheese under the grill. Turned out well and the kids loved it

Yeah I was just reading through this and realised I'd said that haha. If I use frozen schnitzel I cook in the george forman then nuke it in the microwave. Sometimes I do it all in the oven.
