Baking!

So I was really stressed today and we had three really ripe bananas so I decided to make banana bread. I've decided to start a new hobby. Now every time I've stressed I'm going to bake something!

Here's my banana bread:





Does anybody else like to bake?

Love it. Have been baking since i was a little kid ;D Its a good thing i'm pretty good at it because i have a very cake addicted boyfriend and lots of family and friends with a very sweet tooth

I find it very relaxing too Bre. I have been told i am a bit too much of a perfectionist though. I have been known to make a whole mixture and chuck it out and start again. Or decorate wrong and wipe every bit of icing/frosting etc off and start again

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of it being relaxing?? I feel like that would create more stress.

I'm not much of a baker. All the ones I make don't turn out looking right, but they taste fine I blame our oven though, it doesn't heat properly!

Nah, its just the way i am with all cooking (and lots of things to be honest). It has to be right. I don't get stressed over it.

I can't cook (I only know two dishes) so I definitely can't bake. I don't think I would even want to try. I find it more difficult than cooking!

I think baking is easier than cooking. The recipes I've baked have all been really simple and usually turn out right.

How did it taste Bre? I love anything with bananas in it.

As far as I know everything I have baked has turned out okay. Although I am hopeless with cakes, they taste good but they never rise as much as the ones on TV, and aren't as moist .

I love making cakes and biscuits. Olivia and I are on a cupcake craze atm. Unfortunately my baking is all packet mixes. Just don't have time to do it all from scratch or make anything complicated.

I can't cook, at all. I am actually quite afraid of cooking. I have never walked away without a bad burn.

Ah school enforcing baking. We never did much in the way of cakes at school, but then I only did cooking for 2 years and it was pretty basic.

That's one of the reasons why I try to avoid baking. I have a slight fear of hot pots and pans.

I love hot pots and pans! I like to touch them all the time!! The burning sensation is so lovely!!
