We had some beef and black bean thing with rice. My MiL cooked it. My SiL has been going on about how great it is and how much she missed that meal but I found it gross. I hate black beans, the meat was pink (I dont care if it was actually cooked, I dont like to eat pink meat) and the sauce had no flavour. Sean also didn't like the beans and they were all trying to make him eat them so I overruled them all and told him to eat around them.

There's no point trying to make kids eat foods they don't like, it makes dinner time more difficult when they end up in a sour mood. Olivia won't eat cooked carrots so I give them to her raw, as long as she eats it I don't care how it's served.
Tonight we had kebabs and vegies.

Yeah - if they have a bite and don't like it, then they don't have to eat it.
We have a creamy salmon pasta, it was nice.

I had the best dinner on Tuesday night - for entree I had escargot (so delicious, oh my gosh), main was bouillabaisse and for dessert I had crème brûlée. I obviously went to a French restaurant  |

Oh my gosh they were SO SO SO GOOD! I know they sound gross, but they were delicious!
I had a seafood marinara today, just picked up one of those John West fresh packets - really good.
