Our little forum is fast approaching the massive 250,000 post mark. We are currently sitting at 220,252 posts, with 4,219 topics.
When do you think we will reach 250,000? Do you think it could happen this year?

I say we'll hit it in the New Year.
I disagree with Irene. I'm pretty sure we'll hit it before that in December.

Where would be the fun in that? It varies too much to really get an answer that way. Some days we get about 50 posts, other days 100s. For instance so far today there have been 201 posts. I can't check what it was yesterday, only day by day. |

I've gone for 6 months  . We tend to slump around Christmas time and leading up to then. |

This could be one of our challenges. Get everyone to help the board reach 250,000 by the end of the year! ;D

I like how I am the most pessimistic going for February We have a huge slump in activity around early December - mid January every year. We also slump a little from mid October - mid November when all our uni students have exams and studying to do. |

I say next March. It might be before then, but we still have a ways to go, and if we have a slump in December-January again, then it'll be tough to get there before February.

Since Kax started we have averaged out to around 3616 posts a month. So if we kept the same average then we would reach the target in 8 months which would put it at March. But that is keeping in mind the first 6 months of Kax were not very active, and the majority of posts from that first 6 months were deleted long ago, not to mention the thousand odd posts that were deleted from AO awhile back. That will pull it back to February imo |
