I would be a bit excited by this in any case because they are bringing in the actors that play Thor, Loki, Nick Fury, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, etc in their own movies, but best of all it is being directed by Joss. And even better? He helped write the Screenplay.

Not due for release until 2012, but we can discuss it. The news reports today that Ed Norton has been dropped as Bruce Banner because he wasn't fitting in with the rest of the cast. Wonder who will play him now. The Thor, Nick Fury and Captain America movies are due for release in 2011 and 2012 so these will also serve as excellent intros to The Avengers
