Do you cook with a lot of spices? Do you have favourite spices? Which ones do you use a lot and which do you never use? Or do you not notice?

I LOVE garlic and onion salt together. But that's about all. I add those to everything. I don't know any other spices so I'm afraid to add them to anything.

I usually only add spices the recipe calls for (if any). I very rarely add my own seasoning to a dish unless it's salt and pepper--unless I'm making burgers or something simple like that, that isn't naturally full of flavor.

I always put Rosemary on roast lamb. A bit of Garlic Salt in my spaghetti sauce and sometimes the dried Italian Herbs. I sometimes put Tumeric powder in with rice when it is cooking to make it yellow. I've got Paprika for the spaghetti sauce, and Chicken Salt if I make roast chicken.

Ahh my brother is obsessed with chicken salt! I don't think we ever use it on actual chicken - usually just potatos/chips.

I use garlic salt on bread to make garlic toast with my spaghetti. Now that I'm thinking about it, I probably use more spices than I realize because they're probably just second nature to me. I wouldn't have thought to use paprika in spaghetti sauce. I usually just use an Italian blend seasoning. I might have to try paprika next time.

I'll pm you my spaghetti sauce recipe I just realised that I don't use salt and pepper much. A little bit in mashed potato, and on tomato sandwiches. I only buy a container of salt and a smaller one for pepper once a year.

When preparing a meal I normally do not add spices. I sometimes use A-1 Steak Sauce or Lawry's Teriyaki Marinade.
