Pulp Fiction (1994) One of my faves! Have loved it since a year 10 sleepover and wrote at least two essays about it during my uni studies.

True. I gotta say, though, it is my favorite Tarantino movie (not a huge fan of his) only because I love seeing John Travolta dance.  |

It was on TV today (cable TV, so unedited!) so I watched it. I did like it much better this time around. I still am NOT a fan of the non-linear time line .. it just has no necessary effect that I can point out, so I feel like he was doing it just to be different? I don't know. Just didn't seem effective. On the good side of filmmaking, I love the scene with Butch and Esmerelda(?) in the car with the black and white background. It's very film noir. Especially with the smoke and her femme fatale vibe. Cool scene. And I still LOVE when Travolta and Uma dance. I love their mini relationship. And I like her ketchup joke. |

I watched it over the weekend and I didn't like it. I had a hard time getting into the movie. So I watched it like till the last 20 mins or so and watched something else instead. I thought there wasn't much going on and was quite slow-moving so I was bored through most of it. I would probably go back and watch the remainder of the movie to see if it picks up or gets better. |
