I never seen the first film, my dad told me that i would like it, so i am waiting till i see the first film to see this.
has anybody seen it yet? The trailer looks good.

I saw it a few days before Christmas. I really liked it. I've seen the original, which is also a great movie, and I love that Jeff Bridges was back to play the character of Kevin Flynn again. The only downside for me was time that could have been used to further the story of this second movie in some way was used to back track a bit and review the story of the first movie for those who hadn't seen it. Otherwise, I thought it was a great movie and I've heard rumors that the director is looking to make a third movie, too.

I loved it, but this may have more to do with the soundtrack. Sometimes I go back to old movies where they don't put theme music to everything and it is so boring, this is opposite. Daft Punk did such an amazing job, gave me chills.
