Interview with Alex Goddard (aka Lex):
LEX: Can we expect NYC landmarks to play important roles in RR?
AMBER: Oh, definitely. What would a setting in New York City be if I wasn't going to tear down a few landmarks here and there? In fact, an event takes place in season two's premiere in one of NYC's more famous buildings, and you can expect them to take an even bigger role in the latter half of this season.
L: Can we expect more investigation into Faith’s past which could help explain why she’s like she is?
A: Of course! I'm aware that the audience knows what happened to Faith on Buffy, but before Buffy...that's what remains a mystery, and that's what's going to be revealed as both this season and other seasons progress. Two major points of Faith's childhood and teenage-years are coming up in both season two and season three.
L: The finale ended in the final battle for AtS…can we expect some characters from the series to join the RR cast?
A: Yes, you can…but not some. Only one of the characters remaining from the AtS cast will join RR’s main cast, and time will tell which one will stay.
L: Can we expect more mischief from Artemis in the series?
A: I think the real question is here, what you can’t expect from Artemis in the series…She’s a trouble-maker, and it shows even more in season two than it did in season one. She’s wrapped around her boss’ finger still, though, but there’s no telling how long that will last…
L: Marie is obviously one of the more original characters in the series, especially considering her involvement with Cate from SS. Can we expect more about her character and her past?
A: A big yes to this one. As soon as you think everything there is to know about Marie has been uncovered, something happens and everything’s sent into a big question mark once again. There’s lots to be revealed about her, and some of it has to do with Cate (and the rest of the Clique) from SS. Some of it is entirely different, however.
L: Robin Wood…will he become a more integral part in the upcoming seasons, and take a more active role in his relationship with Faith?
A: He’s going to become more important to the series, and fast. Yes, he will take a more active role in his relationship with Faith, as well. He hasn’t been able to (neither of them have, really) because of the events going on, but their relationship will progress very soon.
L: What can we expect from Season Two of RR?
A: You can expect loads more mysteries, relationships and friendships to be tested, and characters’ past. This season is separated into two halves. The mid-season finale will occur in episode eight of season two, as everything ties together quickly between episodes seven and eight. Questions about certain things (and people) will be answered, and others will be brought up. The second half of the season ties in with an even bigger string of events that will continue throughout season three…
