Okay...I'm not the most talented writer, but I think I am getting better each day. I want to write Buffy/Angel fan fiction, but I have tons of plot bunnies and can't decide which one or ones I should start out with. I was hoping you guys could give your opinion.
Unfortunately I don't know how to attach a word document (if you even can) so I have to post them one by one here. I'll put them in quotes so the post won't be ridiculousy long.
The Plot Bunnies:
1.Re-write. Beginning with The Prom. At a moment of weakness, Angel bares all his feelings to Buffy. When Buffy finds out about her mother’s talk with Angel she runs to the mansion to confront him. She finds out some nice things along with a few disturbing things and that her mother was not the only one to betray her. Buffy convinces Angel not to leave her. They run away together (after the ascension) and form a supernatural detective agency in New York. There they meet Doyle and later Fred, Gunn and Lorne. The threat of Wolfram and Hart is there. Angel’s soul will in some way be bound and later Buffy will become immortal. Will include Angel being shot by Faith and drinking from Buffy. Possibilities: Cordelia showing up, Willow arriving with Oz in tow to apologize, their friends becoming immortal as well
2.Buffy/Angelus. Angel finds everything around him falling to pieces. When it becomes too much, and with the aid of drugs and maybe a spell, Angelus returns. After causing mass destruction in LA he heads to Sunnydale to torture and finally kill Buffy. However, when he realizes his feelings for her are beyond obsession he changes tactics. Now, Angelus will do anything in his power to make Buffy his-for eternity. Angelus will reveal many of Angel’s secrets to Buffy, including the fact that they are married in the old Irish sense and the vampiric sense. Buffy and Angel are VERY evil, but are completely in love with each other.
3.Lighter Buffy/Angelus. Angelus is in love with Buffy, but he refuses to admit it and instead uses those feelings to torment her further. There is only one problem. Angelus wants Buffy. Buffy wants Angelus. After a night of passion they come to an agreement of sorts. Agreement: Angelus will not hurt Buffy’s friends or kill anyone. He refuses to live off of pig’s blood and Buffy agrees to help him steal human blood. Angelus is still Angelus though, meaning he’s arrogant, sadistic, many times cruel, talks down to people and enjoys tormenting others emotionally. Buffy brings out good qualities in him, though. Angelus searches for a way to make her immortal.
4.Angel’s friends go behind his back and make him human. The only problem is that Angel had lost his desire to become human. It was the exact opposite-he had embraced his demon and evilness living inside him, which made him even more powerful then before (and Angelus-like). He searches out his sire, so she can make him a vampire again. He and Darla show up at the Hyperion and Buffy willingly goes with them. Buffy/Angelus, Darla/Angelus, maybe Buffy/Angel. Pick one: His soul is restored, after many horrible deeds, OR Angel turns Buffy and both their souls are restored OR Angel turns Buffy and their souls AREN’T restored.
5.Willow finds a way to bind Angel’s soul, but when she casts the spell something goes horribly wrong. This includes deep cuts, burns and convulsions, leaving Angel in the vampire equivalent to a coma. Angst ensues.
6.The Gift re-write. The Angel crew finds out about Glory and race to Sunnydale to help. Angel stops Buffy from jumping, drinks her blood and jumps himself. He is swallowed by the vortex. Of course much angst ensues. Both gangs join together to try and find a way to bring Angel back from Hell. Meanwhile Angel is obviously suffering. (Whether or not his suffering in Hell will be written about is up for debate) If he returns he will be like a primal animal (think season 3) and much mayhem would happen due to him and his seemingly inability to recover.
7.Buffy Season 4/Angel Season 1. Angel has been appearing in Buffy’s dreams frequently. (Some sexual, some not) It comes to the point of every night. She finally goes to him and finds out he has been in the same situation. They try to figure out what it means. The mixture of their close proximity and the dreams causes a lot of tension.
8.An old friend of Angel’s returns to succeed where Darla failed. The “friend”: Her name is Desireé (French for desired or to be desired) She’s a Daywalker. (My definition of Daywalker: besides the obvious-being able to walk in the sun-daywalkers are very powerful vampires. They have no soul, but are usually very emotional. Daywalkers are very picky with who they turn and there are not many left.) Her story: Angel met Desireé when she was human in 1798. Her name was Catherine and she lived in Ireland. He took an immediate liking to her and decided he would court her, make her trust him and when they finally make love he would turn her. However, a daywalker named Daniel turned her before Angel was able to. He was furious, killed Daniel and took Catherine as his lover, behind Darla’s back, of course. They were separated around the time of Dru’s turning and never made their way back to each other.
9.Angelus writes in his journal daily. After I Only Have Eyes for You he hides out in his old apartment, reading his journal and writing an especially personal entry. He admits that he is in love with Buffy. Buffy finds the journal sitting on his bed and goes to Angelus after discovering information about him she never knew.
10.Post NFA. After the final battle Angel has dropped into some sort of coma. His eyes remain open, but they have a dead look in them and he doesn’t respond to anything. Includes a good relationship between Angel and Spike and between Angel and Connor; Angel getting visions; slayers coming and Spike screaming at them because they left the Angel crew to deal with it themselves and because of how they treated the Angel crew.
11.Buffy Season 3. Angel takes much longer to revive from his time in Hell. After some time he seems to be healthy again, but soon has relapses.
