Steven watches it sometimes, I imagine SGU is similiar to it, like a drama type situation in the sky? or is completely different?.

I've been meaning to watch this as I've heard really good stuff about it. They are showing the 3rd season here in NZ (I think). Have to hunt down for the DVDs.  |

For anyone who has watched the season one DVDs, do I watch the first disc (which has the Battlestar Galactica: Miniseries on it) before the episodes?? I would assume I do because it's disc one, but I just want to make sure!

You will have to watch the miniseries first of some of it won't make sense

Raimon loves it, I slept through most of it when he watched. There's also a show starting this year called Caprica. Based 50 years before BG and shows about the cylons first being created.

I finished the miniseries and the first four episodes. I really like all the characters so far! I miss space sci-fi and it makes me want to re-watch Firefly. The concept of the cylons is creepy as hell and it's a gloomy show, but I like it so far! Are there any funny episodes?? |

I think BSG will be our next dvd set purchase after we finish with Angel, I have never seen any BSG though!

We just finished the miniseries it started a wee bit slow but got really interesting I loved the ending! I wasn't expecting that. Annoying because I really like the chiefs woman (I forget her name) so I'm sad she's a Cylon (or so I'm guessing) .

We only have a couple episodes Left. I still like Lee, the Admiral and Athena. I didn't much care for Callie.
