I saw a couple of people post already that they were going to watch this again as tribute to Jeff Conoway so I thought I would pick this as June's Movie of the Month.
So lets discuss Grease!

I love Grease! I remember for one of my birthday parties, a bunch of my friends and I went to see Grease in theaters because they were replaying it for some reason. It was so fun! Then I saw it live a few years after that.
But I don't think I have this on DVD, so I'll have to go buy it. I am pretty sure I only have the VHS.

Yeah we went to the re-release. Everyone singing and talking along. It kind of shit me Its one of the first movies i remember seeing when i sneaky watched it down the hall. I thought it was pretty magical at 4 years old I still like it though. I love how old they all are playing 17 year olds. Stockard Channing was 30+ and already looks like a boozehound. ONJ looks pretty awesome in it. Was excited to see those black pants from "You're the One that i Want" at the Oprah taping

I also love how old the actors are but still playing highschoolers. There is something so wrong and right about it. I used to own the soundtrack, but that was before I had a computer and someone stole my CDs in middle school. I listened to it all the time.

My parents had the album on record, Sam and I used to sing and dance around to it all the time as kids Who were everyone's favourite and least favourite characters and why? Best and worst songs? Best and worst scenes?

Someone hasn't seen Grease? I may have to watch it again and come back on here to discuss it with you lovely people. Rizzo was my most loved character

Nate. Rizzo for me too. I love a tough, skanky broad Who would go on to play the First Lady in favourite TV show of all time. There are Worse things I Could do is a great song. Could sing it right here, right now. You're the One that I Want is the best song though IMO.

I love Grease it was one of the first plays I saw. Steven doesn't though he thinks the second was better so I tease him for it because it was crap, worse than crap . The great thing about Grease is it is so different to most movies we see, she changed who she was she took on a whole new attitude. I liked Summer nights & You're the one that I want.

See my mother, once she found out I'd seen it, sat me down and told me that changing for someone else (especially a boy) was wrong. The only person you change for is yourself. I think that argument can be made in regards to Sandy but it's perhaps a little in depth for a movie like Grease I also got a lecture about Pretty Woman when i was allowed to watch that but that's a whole other story!!

After I saw the play, the lady that took me was my mom's friend's mom (so she's like an aunt to me) and she told me that changing for someone else was wrong too. But even if it's true, it's still a damn good movie with damn good songs!

Grease is one of those movies that you just HAVE to sing to, it makes for some entertaining telly when it comes on and the dancing is great to
