FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign against the occupying alien force.

This and Fox's Terra Nova are 2 shows that have me pretty interested.

I've never heard of it, but if it comes here and after I catch up on a few other new shows it sounds interesting

Its on FOX here starting July 8. Was going to get it by other means but i think i will wait and check it out then.

I watched the first hour of the pilot. It was interesting, but kind of boring at times. If I see it on, I'll watch it, but I'm not going to watch it religiously.

I expect boring parts in the pilot so that won't stop me from watching anymore, I have learned that you have to watch a few regular hour long episodes before you can make a judgement on a show (SGU, BSG, BTVS plus many more all had weak pilots I cringe at the thought of the great tv I could have missed!) . At least that is how I feel.

I haven't watched it yet but we do have it DVR'd so will see it at some time.

Finally caught up. I am enjoying this show so far, the pilot started slow but the following episodes tarted delving into characters backgrounds. My only problem with the show is the Aliens, usually SciFi shows have human aliens as well (BSG ,Stargate, Dr Who etc;) it gives a more personal connection. So far the aliens are just been shown as ruthless killers similar to war of the worlds style.

I watched the whole first season with Steven when it aired and can barely remember anything lol he saw promos for season 2 and said "Wow that show looks kinda interesting" but hey, it got a second season, that is more than Terra Nova got and I remember all of TN !.
