In light of stupid movie studios casting Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, the hero of one of my favourite book series (who in the books is a very tall and imposing man) I thought I'd make this thread. What other terrible casting decisions have been made? Did they ruin the movie for you? Ruin your love of the book and/or author? |

Well, I'm not quite pleased with the casting of The Hunger Games movie.
As for movies that are already out, I can't think of any where I hating the casting. I'm sure there is a few I wasn't pleased with.
Not happy that Brandon Routh got replaced in the new Superman movie though.

Val Kilmer and George Clooney as Batman. Both very wrong. Hayden Christensen in Star Wars II and III.

Not happy that Brandon Routh got replaced in the new Superman movie though. Have you seen Henry Cavill? Seen any if his work ( The Tudors for example)?? The man is a damn fine actor and smoking hot. I think he's a great choice. Agree with Shaun's. Especially HC. SO BAD. As much I think Matthew McConaghy is awesome and pretty he is NOT Dirk Pitt (from Sahara ). And Steve Zahn is NOT Al. At all. That was appalling casting. |
