He does. I know he is supposed to be a baddie but I think he is by far the best character. Emma is ok but I don't care much about her so rooting for her is kinda meh. The backstories continue to be brilliant, the way everything is weaving together and fleshed out is awesome.

I was just thinking that this curse wasn't too bad. Everyone is happy so why try to break it.
Then he dies!!! Damn!

No one is happy there Irene, what show are you watching? They are all terrified of the Mayor and most of their lives are miserable! Or at the very least, unfullfilling and empty. New episode today ;D

Compared to their lives in fairytale land, this life is waay better 'cause half of them would probably be dead by now.

Compared to their lives in fairytale land, this life is waay better 'cause half of them would probably be dead by now. No cause in fairy tale land they end happily ever after - eventually Good ends up winning. But more to the point they are free and not under control by someone else. None of them are happy in Storeybrooke, their lives aren't safe they are under the control of the Mayor and they are unfulfilled lives with no 'happily ever after'.

The only one who seems remotely happy is Happy the dwarf . Maybe the new guy.

The curse doesn't seem dire enough imo.
Btw, does anyone else notice the little fairytale symbols during the opening title card during every episode? Thought that is cool. ;D

Anybody watch last weeks? It had no Rumpelstiltskin and wasn't one of my favourite episodes. Amy Acker though! The other fairy, I know her face but can't remember where from lol.

Nico, she was in Battlestar Galactica. Saw ep 9 and 10. Love the backstory on how Snow met the dwarfs - and they are not actually dwarfs! The last scene where we found out Snow took the potion made me gasp. Did not expect that at all. Though I thought it was dumb for Mary and David to be kissing like that our in the open.

I didn't expect her to drink the potion either, it was a "awww no way!" moment Who are everyone else's favourite characters? What do you think of them all and which were the best fairy tale stories so far? Any you are looking forward to seeing?

I love David/James. So any fairy tale with him in it I enjoy. I'm looking forward to know how Red Riding Hood knows Snow. I didn't expect that. But there isn't really any one fairytale that I can't wait for.

Rumpelstiltskin. He is into everything! I liked Beauty & the beast, just because it was cleverly done. I am so excited to see how they take on the rest.

He is my favourite and that was my favourite one too I also loved the Jiminy Cricket story. I'm looking forward to seeing what Snow did to the Evil Queen to make her hate her so much and I look forward to seeing Sleeping Beauty done, and whether Malificent is in Storybrooke. It is odd she hasn't been in it since the Evil Queen said early on that she was her only friend. I can not wait to see when Rumplestilskin finds out Belle is still alive and whether they will have a relationship, what effect that could have on the curse. I like the Snow/James fairy tale stories but I find them both boring in Storybrooke. Ho-hum.

I thought the queen hated Snow because the huntsman chose her (by protecting her) over the queen and because her husband loved snow more than her but now I wonder if there is something else. I do like how they are all intermingled though. They are both boring! but in fairytale land they are both awesome Red's story is tomorrow right?

The huntsman spared her after the Queen had sent him to kill her so she already hated her. It has been stated by Snow and by the Queen that Snow betrayed her somehow, which prevented her from ever having true love. Whether that has to do with Snow's father hasn't been shown yet.
Red's is next yep, but I have to watch the last two still, probably will over the next couple of days.

Good point, I didn't think about that. So they haven't told us that part yet then. I do remember her mentioning that she done something to the queen, I have a feeling it's to do with her dad. The queen hooked up with the Genie as well though right? or just used his love for her to try kill the father? I haven't seen Red's episode yet, I want to find out who the wolf is though. Any opinions on who the new guy is? (putting in spoilers because this part was in one of the last 2 episode before Red's) He stole the book with the fairy tales in it and completely repaired it (or atleast that is what it looked like) did he add/remove pages? change things around??

Re August (the motorcycle guy) - He added pages to it and repaired it. Not sure if those are new new pages or the pages Emma and Henry destroyed at the beginning of the series. I suspect August is the author of the book, he knows all about it and seems to have been to Storybrooke before. Plus the Mayor doesn't know who he is so he is not a fairy tale person. The Queen used the Genie, she never loved him. There must have been a true love along the way somewhere that Snow did something to ruin for her. I'm sure it will be shown at some point
