August I thought the W in his name (August.W.Boothe) might have made him the wolf, (I haven't watched that episode yet so I guess he may still be) but then I thought maybe he is Grimm, the author of the book. He also said "I never lie" I thought that was interesting but it could be completely unrelated!

He isn't a fairy tale character. If he was part of the curse the mayor would know him and she doesn't.

I think Grimm. He could come and go because he wrote the entire thing.

I read an interesting theory that he may be Pinocchio. This is based on these facts/theories -
August stated he never lies. August W. Booth - A.W.B - A Wooden Boy. Perhaps Pinocchio was made of the same wood as the closet that saved Emma and hence isn't in Storybrooke. (We know Gepetto is - Jiminy Crickets friend - but no mention was made of him having a son and he should if Pinocchio is in Storybrooke)
If true he could have been sent by Gepetto to guide Emma. I don't know how much of that I believe but I do believe he was the one that wrote the book (whether he is Pinocchio or not) and that he was the 7 year old boy that found Emma by the side of the road.

Well the wolf is definitely not August! Pretty huge spoiler from the Red Riding Hood ep Shocked as that it turned out to be Red though!

Beck I thought the wolf was granny! I surely thought it wasn't Peter or red! When they saw the footprints to the house I suspected Granny but then I said "Ohh, I bet it's Red!" Pretty awesome. This show never ceases to amaze me how they remake the fairy tales and it is so believable!

Next week is more Snow/Evil Queen history. I assume as well as stuff on the Kathryn murder, who I don't believe to be dead. The heart is obviously one of the ones from the mayor's creepy crypt.

Saw the beauty and the beast ep and I don't like that Rumpelstiltskin was the beast. Great ending though! I was wondering throughout the episode where 'reality' Belle was. Btw, how did Regina not know who Mr. Gold really is? I thought she knew who everyone really was in her town. Also, that blond chick that got proposed too. Have we seen her before on the show and I forgot? Or is she some character that randomly popped up for just this episode.

Really? I loved that Rumplestitskin was the Beast, it is partly why that is my favourite episode so far.
Regina knew who Mr Gold was, what she hadn't known was that he knew who he had been. That is what she was trying to find out.
The blonde girl is Cinderella, there was an episode on her and her Prince Charming earlier in the season.

Ah ok. I didn't really pay much attention to that episode. Was my least favourite as it wasn't very interesting. That's why I was wondering who she was. Yeah, I didn't like that he was the Beast. I don't like the idea of him being two fairytale characters.

A couple of them take on more than one role

Yeah, but I don't like HIM playing two characters. He's good enough being Rumplestitskin. I thought it was a little anti-climatic that he was the Beast as well. It's no fun anymore. I might change my mind later when their story progresses but for now, no. I don't like it.

Each to their own I guess, I think it was fantastic making him the beast. It added more depth to his character, made him sadder knowing he has a true love but lost her. It also added a nice twist to the relationship with him and the Evil Queen, when he finds out about Belle it is going to be really exciting. At the moment it is hard to know whether he sides with Emma or the Queen, or neither.

Ep 16 -
Not one of the best episodes, but still a lot of good stuff. I love Grumpy.

I loved that rumpel was a second fairytale. The point of the show is for you to see fairytales differently, not the same as you always have Looking forward to this weekends Alice in wonderland episode. The mad hatter is truly mad haha

Me too, should be good! The one after that we see Prince Charming's father in Storybrooke too - he is playing the lawyer that prosecutes Mary Margarat, how fitting Can't wait to see how all that plays out.

Was that the one with Amy Acker? I agree that episode was definitely not one of the best ones.

Yeah, about Grumpy. Saw ep 15 this afternoon and that was a great ep. Didn't see Red being the wolf at all! I was so sure that it was the Grandmother. I was kinda right.
