Do you buy your vegetables fresh or frozen?
I used to only buy them fresh but if the quality at the supermarket is bad I have started going with some frozen veggies. Especially for things like a stirfry (though I will still add fresh snowpeas as well). They are just as healthy now and taste the same - mostly. It can be a matter of finding a good one!

I have a mix. Because honestly the quality of frozen is often superior to "fresh" in Coles, Woolies etc. And I use the word fresh like that because it's actually alarming to discover how NOT fresh fruit and vege can be in a supermarket. If i have the time a green grocer or the markets is the way i go.

The only frozen vegetables I buy are peas/corn mix (unless it's the McCain stir-fry mix). I don't buy any fruits/vegies that look dodgy.

I buy frozen corn, because fresh is too expensive (I eat a lot of corn!).

We hardly ever have corn, should have it more since Ella-Rose loves it so much.

I end up shopping at the more expensive supermarket (Waitrose/M&S), or buying at farmer's markets. Not as convenient.

M&S are great for fresh and Asda are okay to.
A couple of grocery stores we shop at here have awful 'fresh' fruit and veg, I assume its been sitting there for a while but it's an obvious difference so I buy frozen. For fresh I have to go elsewhere, our Walmart just opened a huge produce section and they have the freshest fruit & veg at good prices.
I love this time of year because it's pick your own season soon and Emily loves that. Great for strawberries, apples etc.

I've never been to Asda (not one near me) - it's owned by WalMart right?
I love picking strawberries!

I think they bought the largest share of it in the last 4 years. I don't know why they would want to be associated with Walmart they are pretty similar I guess, they do have a great bakery and Deli section. I love picking strawberries because it's cheap and there is a tonne you can do with them.
